8 Trainer Prerequisites for Job role: mapped to Qualification Pack: SGJ/Q2101, v1.0 Sr. No. Area Details 1 Description To deliver accredited training service, mapping to the curriculum detailed above, in accordance with the Qualification Pack SGJ/Q2101, Version Personal Attributes 3 Minimum Educational Qualifications 4a 4b Domain Certification Platform Certification Aptitude for conducting training, and pre/ post work to ensure competent, employable candidates at the end of the training. Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team; a passion for quality and for developing others; well-organised and focused, eager to learn and keep oneself updated with the latest in the mentioned field. High School/Intermediate with 2 years experience in civil/mason work Certified for Job Role: mapped to QP: SGJ/Q2101, Version 1.0. Minimum accepted score as per SCGJ is 80%. Recommended that the Trainer is certified for the Job Role: Trainer, mapped to the Qualification Pack: MEP/Q0102 or equivalent. Minimum accepted score as per SCGJ is 80%. 5 Experience Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience 5

9 Annexure: Assessment Criteria Assessment Criteria for Job Role Qualification Pack SGJ/Q2101, Version 1.0 Sector Skill Council Green Jobs Sr. Guidelines for Assessment No. 1 Criteria for assessment for each Qualification Pack will be created by the Sector Skill Council. Each Performance Criteria (PC) will be assigned marks proportional to its importance in NOS. SSC will also lay down proportion of marks for Theory and Skills Practical for each PC. 2 The assessment for the theory part will be based on knowledge bank of questions created by the SSC. 3 Individual assessment agencies will create unique question papers for theory part for each candidate at each examination/training centre(as per assessment criteria below) 4 Individual assessment agencies will create unique evaluations for skill practical for every student at each examination/training canter based on this criteria 5 To pass the Qualification Pack, every trainee should score a minimum of 70% in the overall assessment 6 The marks are allocated PC wise; however, every NOS will carry a weight age in the total marks allocated to the specific QP NOS Performance Criteria Total Mark SGJ/N2101: Collection Materials Preparation Appropriate Mixture of & of PC1. Select the location from where the required quality clay will be dug/obtained. PC2. Select the location from where appropriate sand will be obtained. PC3. Arrange the tools use for clay digging and sieving of sand i.e. shovel, sieve, trowel, wiremesh. 40 Out Of Mark Allocation Theory Skill Practical PC4. Check the appropriateness of tools. PC5. Identify the area where clay & sand will be collected and stored. PC6. Arrange the mould, paddles, bucket and other necessary items at the collection area. PC7. Collect the small pieces of dug clay. PC8. Obtain the clay PC9. Dry up the dug/obtained clay. 6

10 SGJ/N2102: Construction Improved of PC10. pieces. Break the dug/obtained clay into small PC11. Sieve the sand using wire mesh to remove the large stones. PC12. Prepare appropriate mixture of clay & sand with water. PC13. Ensure water penetration in the clay mixture. PC14. Obtain a homogenous mixture with no air pockets. PC15. Cure the clay and ensure proper storage. PC1.Prepare the mould. NOS Total Marks TOTAL PC2.Knead the block of clay against the mould board. PC3.Prepare two slab of clay on the moulding board. PC4.Insert the first slab inside the mould and then repeat with second. PC5.Seal the seam. PC6.Position the paddle inside the mould and remove excess clay. PC7.Remove the mould from the liner. SGJ/N2103: Installation and Demonstration of the Improved PC8.Make a firewood access opening. PC9.Properly mark the pot rest position PC10.Prepare pot rest by pressing a chunk of clay into the pot rest mould. PC11.Attach the pot rest with the liner. PC12.Smoothen the side of the stove PC13.Dry up the liner for 2-3 days slowly. PC14.Fire the liner in kiln to strengthen the liner. NOS Total Marks TOTAL PC1.Assess the site for ventilation and proper air circulation PC2.Finalize the spot where mould will be installed. PC3.Mark and scale the final spot PC4.Arrange & check the tools required for installation. PC5. Dig the spot according to marking and scaling using tools. 50 PC6.Lay bricks on the spot PC7.Install the clay mould on the spot. PC8. Finish the installation. PC9.Dry up the installation. 7

11 SGJ/N2104: Health and Work Safety while Construction and Installation of Improved SCGJ/N2112: Entrepreneurship in Installation of Improved PC10.Demonstrate proper placement and lighting of fuel. PC11.Put water pot on the pot rest which need to be heated up. PC12.Remove the pot from the cookstove when the water is boiled. PC13.Demonstrate handling of hot pot safely. PC14.Remove the excess firewood from the fire opening of the cookstove. PC15.Demonstrate cooling off the cookstove. NOS Total Marks TOTAL PC1.
