2 Safal Engineers & Fabrication, a partnership firm was founded in year Setup by an enterprising technocrat, having wide experience of 30 years in heavy construction industry, in partnership with highly experienced person. Being himself a postgraduate Automobile engineer, has developed skills in design, fabrication, erection & commissioning of equipment, working with his own hands. The unit is situated in an Industrial area developed by Govt. of Maharashtra, near Kolhapur in Western Maharashtra.

3 Personnel : - 1) Shri. Wagare Rajaram Balu Age 66 years Experience : Around 38 Years experience in machine shop, and Fabrication, Crusher Conveyors erection, fabrication and commissioning of same. Experience in construction equipment fabrication. 2) Shri. Joshi Chintamani Shankar Age 70 years Qualification : B.E. (Mech.), M.E. (Auto) Experience : 45 years experience in construction industry, Equipment fabrication and repairs, Maintenance and repairs of air compressor, DG sets, Heavy Cranes, Concrete batching plant, Transit Mixer etc. Design, fabrication & Commissioning of small derrick cranes, DD winches, special purpose machines etc. Experience in launching of precast concrete girders for bridges. Developed & fabricated 41 5 Kg/cm2 cement grout pump for prestressed cables.

4 Personnel : - 3) Shri. Joshi Anup Chintamani Age 33 years Qualification : B. E. Electrical (with Dist.), Certified Energy Auditor Experience : Licensed electrical contractor. Experience in industrial Electrification, substation, erection & commissioning, Worked with an electrical consultancy firm for 4 years. Presently running his own electrical consultancy unit plus working in this firm. Bio Data of Key Personnel- 1) Shri. Wagare Krishnat Rajaram Age 39 years Qualification : B. Com. Presently working in this firm. 2) Shri. Wagare Sachin Rajaram Age 32 years Qualification : B. A. Has completed AutoCAD 2000 Course Presently working in this firm. Handles day-to-day work plus drawings.

5 Infrastructure A) Factory Shed : Sq.ft. covered shop Sq.ft. open shed with HOT Crane & 5200 Sq.ft. open space for heavy fabrication & repairs. B) Equipment : - All the required equipment for fabrication & general machining avialable in house. Required measuring & gauging instruments available. Our Works are in an Industrial Area where all other facility like press shop etc is easily available. Field Testing Station (Govt of India) is in our M.I.D.C. area where Material Testing facility (NABL Certified) is available.

6 What we do : Heavy fabrication jobs. EOT Cranes, Jib Cranes to customer specifications Shuttering Inner & Outer for well foundation for bridges, shuttering for superstructures. Cutting edges for bridge foundation. Chisels for bridge foundation rock cutting (Weighing about 2500 Kg.) Single line, double line, grabs for sinking of bridge foundation well. Special type of buckets for earthmoving machineries & hard facing for the same. Well curb conical lining (made out of 10 or 12 mm thick. Plate) for bridges. Low weight mechanical Clamshell Buckets for rehandling materials. Import substitution for construction machinery like Batching Plant, Paver etc.

12 Crane shown alongside is an EOT Grabbing Crane. This is in use at Chloride Metals Ltd. (a subsidiary of Exide India Ltd, leading storage battery manufacturer) for feeding Scrap Batteries to crusher for lead recovery. Crane specifications are:- SWL 4 T GRAB - Double line clamshell bucket SPAN M Operation:- Cabin control Grab shown is designed & manufactured by Safal.

14 2 Cub-M Grab, our product, shown alongside is 2-wire operation type, heavy duty with Cr-Mn cutting teeth for mucking operations in use with Continental Engineering Corporation, a Delhi based Construction company for their bridge project in Andhra Pradesh.

15 Crane shown above is Single girder EOT Crane with Underslung hoist. SWL 5 T, all electric with Bonfiglioli Geared motors for LT Drive. LIFT 6 M, SPAN M Two such cranes are working with George Fischer Piping Systems Pvt. Ltd., at their Ratnagiri (Maharashtra) unit.

16 Goliath double girder crane shown is developed for handling orbital welding machine for pipe welding. This is self propelled unit moving on rails laid on ground. Specifications are Span 4 M, Lift 2 M, Long travel 14 M Supply to crane for welding & LT is through shrouded bus bars. This crane is in operation in one of prestigious heavy machinery manufacturer in Western Maharashtra.

17 Crane shown above is Double girder Goliath crane (converted from existing EOT Crane) In this DGEOT crane we have added Legs + End carriage with new separate LT drive unit for each End carriage. SWL 15 T, all electric.; LIFT 8 M, SPAN 12.2 M This conversion was carried out for S. B. Reshellers Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur.

19 ORANGE PEEL GRAPPLER Shown alongside is an ORANGE PEEL GRAPPLER. This is 2-rope operation mechanical type. This is used on any crawler / EOT grabbing crane used for clamshell grab. The capacity is 0.4 Cub-M. This is supplied to a construction company in Maharashtra for removal of granular material like pebbles from bridge foundation wells.

20 IMPORT SUBSTITUTION Shown alongside is Concrete Mixing Drum (Reversible Type) for an imported batching plant. This was supplied to Simplex Concrete Piling Company Ltd. for their National Highway 4-laning project near Kolhapur. We have also supplied to them, Propeller chain, Track pads for an imported Concrete Paver.

21 PSC Girder Formwork made out of 4 mm thk MS sheet, backed by MS flat 12 X 50 & 6 X 50. This is made up of Straight plates & Chamfer plates, with a view so that about 75 % of plates can be reused for other works Supplied to:- Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd, Bangaluru (Karnataka)

22 Column shown above is used as support for centering truss in bridge construction. Ladder A & B are welded construction (fabrication in fixture), and on faces C and D have bolted bracings. Long members are ISA 75*75*6, welded bracings are ISA 35*5, bolted bracings are out of MS/TOR steel 20 mm dia bar. All bolts are M 12. Column is designed to carry 40 MT vertical load.
