1 Approved by the General Management, 1 st october, 2015 These Students Rules entail a second document, the Student s Guide, in which the academic aspects of the course are explained. content First heading Second heading Third heading Fourth heading Fifth heading Sixth heading student status student rights and obligations enrolment economic obligations discipline protection of personal data First heading student status Article 1. Those persons shall acquire EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial Student status who, after fulfilling the admission requirements and passing the School Admission Commission tests, formalize enrolment, provide the appropriate documents, and pay their programme or course tuition fees in full in the terms and conditions established by EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial. Article 2. These Rules are directly applicable to those persons, who having acquired Student status, according to the provisions established in article 1, follow studies leading to an EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial Qualification, except in the case of the European Social Fund programmes, which have their own rules. Article 3. EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial student status is lost for any of the following reasons: 1. When the programme s academic assessment specified in the Student s Handbook is not passed. 2. When the number of absences is more than allowed. 3. When a student requests leaving the course and is granted this. 4. When it is the result of applying the discipline regulations established in article 21 of these rules. 5. When the economic obligations incurred with EOI are not observed, either because the tuition fees have not been paid before students join the programme or course on which they have been accepted, or because one of the monthly installments or other installments has not been paid and because such payment has not been formalized after being explicitly required to do so by EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial. All this without prejudice to the school s right to claim the amount due. 6. When the corresponding Qualification is obtained. Article 4. Every person who, according to the provisions established in article 3, is no longer an EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial student, shall also lose all the rights that this status implies, irrespective of the moment in which they had been acquired. If the loss of these rights is due to one of the economic reasons in articles 10 to 17, in order to recover Student status, EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial can demand full payment of the programme tuition fees 1 on which the Student wishes to enroll again. 1 Tuition fees are understood as enrolment rights, enrolment fees and other possible specific fees affecting enrolment, programme development or the issuing of EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial qualifications. 1
