2 Situated in Southern Antrim County and surrounded by Torch Lake, Elk Lake, Skegemog Lake and Lake Michigan 47.3 square miles Population: 2,204 (2010) Many seasonal residents and high property value on lake properties. No municipal water or wastewater facilities

3 Early 2010 Milton Township contacted HDNW Milton Twp. and HDNW worked to craft an ordinance and create an intergovernmental agreement. Many meetings were held with stakeholders: township officials, lake associations, realtors, health department staff, attorneys September 14, 2011 the TOT ordinance was approved. Implementation October 8, 2012.

18 Since the ordinance was implemented HDNW has improved its mortgage evaluation process: Included drawing/site plan Added recommendations and restricted future use Added additional evaluation criteria 2017 HDNW in cooperation with TOM is mining data and using GIS technology to create high quality maps of collected data.
