10 Earth Day at Bosch North America Bosch Celebrates Earth Day 2016 Bosch has strong environmental values as reflected in our HSE Vision and Mission as well as the Principles of Work Safety and Environmental Protection. Bosch North America has demonstrated its commitment to these values resulting in a 3% reduction in CO2 emissions equaling 8,650 metric tons, an 11 % reduction in water usage and a 2% reduction in waste disposed for 2015 as compared to C/PSR-NA issued a Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWLF) Toolkit in 2015 to support RBNA locations who are pursuing a ZWLF program. Using the elements of the toolkit, RBNA reduced its waste disposed in the landfill by 13%. By the end of 2015, nine different RBNA locations achieved the ZWLF target of less than 2% of waste disposed in a landfill.
