9 Market Development Programme Goal: Increase Recycling Levels in Ireland Fully harness and support existing outlets Identify and develop new, reliable and stable markets for recyclables Initiatives under three headings Technical: e.g. develop materials standards and quality systems to give confidence to the market Communications: overcome lack of awareness and create communication between stakeholders Economic: support innovation and product development and initiatives between those managing the waste and those creating new products
