SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS FACTS In the UK approx 6% of population are not connected to mains sewer. i.e. England and Wales 4% Scotland 7% Northern Ireland 17% In Ireland approx. 32% of population are not connected to mains sewer.
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS CAUSE OF PROBLEMS Addition of harmful substances to the system such as : household cleaners, bleach, motor oils, pesticides, disinfectants, paints, high fat or grease content foodstuffs, other non-degradable materials WHY? Harmful substances such as those listed : Negatively affect the ph or dissolved oxygen levels. May be inhibitory or biocidal to the resident bacteria May distort the biological balance of the system.
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS SEPTIC TANK TREATMENT Accelerates breakdown of sewage waste. Does not affect other bacteria needed by the septic tank. For use once a year to prevent clogging. Use after septic tank has been pumped. Also known as activator, booster or starter. For clogged drains use Emergency K E K37-Q Q (32fl.oz / 1 quart / 946ml) 3736B K37-H H (64fl.oz / ½ gallon / 1.89l) 3721H K37-G G (128fl.oz / 1 gallon / 3.78l)
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS ROEBIC K-37 K SEPTIC TANK TREATMENT is a select blend of active bacteria which rejuvenates the septic system rapidly. The bacteria are capable of breaking down all components of residential sewage including proteins, starches, fats, f oils and greases as well as cellulose materials and paper. The product is designed to be used to augment or boost the naturally ally occurring bacterial action in the tank as a part of overall good maintenance. One quart should be used for each 500 gallons of septic tank capacity. K-37 contains an obligate anaerobic bacteria strain that lives deep p in the tank where there is no oxygen. The other strains thrive in the higher areas of the tank where there are low levels of oxygen combined with higher levels of nitrate. In this environment, most of the bacterial digestion occurs. Recommended use is once a year since these bacteria become well established in the system. In cases of on older system, or where the tank capacity is too small for the number of persons serviced by it, two applications a year are e recommended.
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS NEW for 2008 GRANULAR SEPTIC SYSTEM TREATMENT Accelerates breakdown of sewage waste, toiletries, cleaners and paper. Does not affect other bacteria needed by the septic tank. Use every other month. Use after septic tank has been pumped as an activator. Helps maintain the correct ph. Biodegradable. Ideal for high load systems. For clogged drains use Emergency K E GSS-1 1 (16 oz / 1 lb / kg)
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS ROEBIC GSS-1 1 GRANULAR SEPTIC TANK TREATMENT is contains eight bacteria strains which digest proteins, fats, oil, grease, paper, starches, s, surfactants and chemicals from household cleaners. It is a very concentrated bacterial additive containing Roebic s ROETECH bacteria in a specially buffered formula. The ROETECH cultures are used in industrial i and commercial wastewater systems and septic tanks worldwide. Recommended use is one container every other month.
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS CESSPOOL TREATMENT Prevents clogging of inlets and outlets in cesspools. Accelerates the breakdown of sewage waste. For use once a year to prevent clogging. Use in cesspools, drywells and any system which gets air. Use after cesspool has been pumped. Also known as activator, booster or starter. For clogged drains use Emergency K K K47-Q Q (32fl.oz / 1 quart / 946ml)
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS ROEBIC K-47 K CESSPOOL TREATMENT is a combination of ten bacteria strains that are capable of breaking down all the components of residential sewage including proteins, starches, fats, oils and greases as well w as cellulose materials. Seven of the strains are the same as those in K-37. K The three different strains are more aggressive in the high oxygen environment e of the cesspool. The product is designed to be used to augment or boost the naturally ally occurring bacterial action of the cesspool as a part of overall good maintenance. One quart should be used for each 500 gallons of cesspool capacity. Recommended application is once a year unless the cesspool is too small to handle the number of persons it services. In that case, c K-47 K should be used two or three times a year.
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS ***EMERGENCY TREATMENT*** SEPTIC & CESSPOOL CLEANER For sluggish septic tanks, cesspools, drywells and drain fields. Acts quickly to restore operating efficiency. Apply when sluggishness is first noticed, or Use when system has not been used for a long period of time. Use approx. 1 litre per 1750 litres capacity. 10 days after using K57, follow up with : K37 for septic tanks or K47 for cesspools. 3723N K57-Q Q (32fl.oz / 1 quart / 946ml) 3732P K57-H H (64fl.oz / ½ gallon / 1.89l) 3724Q K57-G G (128fl.oz / 1 gallon / 3.78l)
SEPTIC TANK CESSPITS AND CESSPOOLS ***EMERGENCY TREATMENT*** ROEBIC K-57 K SEPTIC & CESSPOOL CLEANER is a more concentrated product with six strains of waste degrading bacteria. Four of these are very fast growing and rapidly reproduce when introduced to the system. They produce e copious amounts of enzymes that degrade proteins, starches, fats, oils and a grease as well as cellulose materials. This product is used to restore a system that is not functioning well due to over loading, lack of maintenance or neglect. The faster action of these bacterial strains is able to loosen clogs at pipe inlets, outlets and improve water flow. K-57 K is not to be used in lieu of pumping in cases where neglect has occurred. K-57 K can be used to restore and improve water percolation in older drainfields or cesspools once the system has been pumped out just prior to applying the product.
GARDEN BACTERIAL COMPOSTER Complete composting formula to accelerate the natural composting process. Easy to use. Safe for the environment. Buffered to maintain ph. Biodegradable. 3761B BC (32fl.oz / 1 quart / 946ml)
