3 Introduction Aim of this study Explorative study acceptance of using smartphone-based applications (apps) in occupational health projects. Leaders: are responsible decision-makers in the organization and serve as key figures in occupational health project Dunkl & Jiménez 3
4 Method & Sample Online-study in June 2013 Sample of leaders (N = 438) 64% Germany, 36% Austria 29% female / 71% male 31% executive director, 69% department manager / team leader Industrial sector: 17% service sector, 12% manufacturing, 12% commerce (the rest comes from other industrial sectors) Dunkl & Jiménez 4

No differences regarding gender, age, hierarchical position, leadership experience or number of direct subordinates leaders who have a more positive attitude towards occupational health in general (ß=.21, p<.01) leaders who are working in an organization with less than 50 employees (F 3,368 =1,867; p<.05) Dunkl & Jiménez 12
