Your Personality Type Score: ENFJ Mentor 35% Extroverted 35% Intuitive 100% Feeling 60% Judging E I N S T F P J Profile of an ENFJ Mentor ENFJs possess extraordinary people skills. They derive their greatest satisfaction from serving, understanding, encouraging and stimulating growth and improvement in others. Genuinely in people, they can be highly empathic and profoundly insightful. They are tuned in to people's aspirations and often place others' needs before their own or share others' burdens. Outwardly, they are typically sociable and gracious, bright and charismatic, imaginative and persuasive. They are tremendously tolerant, uncritical and appreciative of others, and radiate caring; they are natural teachers, mentors and counselors. ENFJs have a worldly focus; they see the 'big picture' and want to help people find their best place in humankind. They are cooperative, enthusiastic, standout team leaders. Their preference to lead comes from a desire to facilitate order and create a well-structured and harmonious work environment. In their efforts to lead, influence and organize others, they can tend to be somewhat manipulative, if benignly so. They often are gifted and concise in verbal communication, so much so that they assume they are always understood, and usually are. While they like life to be predictable, well-planned and scheduled, they also anticipate problems and respond to the unexpected well, but they tend to avoid conflict, not wanting to see people hurt. careers@sibcycline.com Page 2 of 9

Communication Interviewing: Acquiring Key Information Presenting: Delivering Key Information Negotiating: Negotiating With People Interviewing: When acquiring key information, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Listen Perceptively Understand Needs Empathize with Others Interviewing and listening are key skills in developing effective customer relationships. An attentive and insightful listener, you will have an imaginative approach to interviewing and establishing desires. An empathetic, yet perceptive person, you will readily assimilate and balance the facts you gather about a buyer's home and neighborhood preferences and their less tangible needs. You will probably learn more about your clients than you need, wanting to help them realize their dreams, but stay down to earth, and just help them find the right home. Presenting: When delivering key information, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Explain Patiently Be Genuine Inspire Personal Growth You can easily translate the data you collect into a home search or strategic marketing plan and be eager to act on it. But you'll also demonstrate patience in explaining why your plan helps your clients personally. Because you can be a great counselor, you will present compelling and credible options. Your gift for clear speech makes you understandable and believable. Eager to be liked and trusted, you will let your presentation be flexible to respond to you clients' questions and concerns. Negotiating: When negotiating deals, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Establish Best Interests Find Middle Ground Motivate Agreement Pleasant but talkative, engaging and attentive, ENFJs sincerely like meeting, interacting with and getting to know people. While being catalysts for personal growth, they easily convey a desire to help others be their best and achieve happiness and security. That makes the ENFJ very easy to like. You are tolerant and appreciative of others, enjoy sharing ideas, are insightful in understanding them and develop deep interpersonal relationships. careers@sibcycline.com Page 4 of 9
Sales Ability Aggressiveness: Drive for Success Trustability: Building Trust Composure: Keeping your Cool Aggressiveness: When driving toward goals, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Be Driven by Values Commit to Results Overcome Obstacles You are direct and assertive when helping people see a path to personal growth. You will be eager to demonstrate the rightness of your ideas and values, establish yourself as an able facilitator and commit to results. In negotiations, you will strongly advocate for your clients and for the benefits of a home you represent for sale. Be sensitive to the difference between being assertive and manipulative, though; in your eagerness to stimulate others to action, you may come off as bossy. Trustability: When building trust with clients, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Be Dependable Validate Concerns Sincerely Care Building and maintaining an advanced level of trust and accountability will require that you establish a track record of delivering on your promises, follow through, and obtaining positive feedback from your clients. Besides being timely, well-organized and dependable, as an ENFJ you are naturally attuned to soliciting and validating client feedback. Focused on the "big picture", you will keep your goals in clear sight and continually demonstrate reliable leadership and attention to clients' needs. Composure: When dealing with pressure and stress, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Plan Ahead Remain Calm Solve People Problems As an ENFJ, you are very sensitive to the needs of others and well organized. Because you plan ahead, you often can preclude a crisis. You tend to keep your cool and do not typically lose composure, and you can even enjoy using your insight to creatively solve complex people problems. You may be less resourceful at resolving technical matters, however, when logic is needed in addition to strong personal values. Learn to be pragmatic, rather than idealistic, and take things less personally, when roadblocks appear. careers@sibcycline.com Page 5 of 9
Bottom Line Networking: Building your Network Discipline: Handling the Routine Closing: Closing the Sale Networking: When building a business network, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Share Ideas Establish Credibility Have Many Friends Establishing good counselor-client relationships depends on being a good listener, establishing likeability and credibility, and fostering an atmosphere of comfort and trust. You're a natural socializer, fluent in speech while also a sympathetic listener with great personal insight. You have a sincere love of people and a desire to be liked that you usually fulfill. ENFJs are often adept at encouraging others, even very introverted types, to share ideas. Discipline: When handling the daily routine, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Multi-task Keep Commitments Work with Teams As an ENFJ, you are a natural multi-tasker, who can easily keep track of all the details inherent in a complex real estate transaction while faithfully representing your client's interests and finding the right buyer or home. You will work hard to keep communication unambiguous and any process running timely and structured. Because you are thorough, desire a positive outcome and enjoy facilitating a team effort, you will utilize colleagues to your advantage, meet deadlines and follow through on details. Closing: When closing deals, it is natural for an ENFJ to: Be Compelling Be Diplomatic Be a Trusted Advisor While you can be very assertive and compelling - even manipulative at times - you will let your caring, nurturing side lead, instilling further trust that you strongly advocate the best outcome for your clients. You will be sensitive and diplomatic in overcoming objections - a trusted advisor more than a sales agent. Your charisma and sincerity will earn you the sale. careers@sibcycline.com Page 6 of 9
Concerns Primarily, your ease in handling people, affinity for planning and organizing, and desire to control and achieve a positive outcome are your most powerful tools for success in real estate sales. Your personality type is one of the best suited for the real estate profession. ENFJs do have three areas of concern, two related to assertiveness with others and one related to how they perceive others. First, wanting to be agreeable, you would always prefer to give and receive affirmative feedback and encouragement. Providing constructive criticism is less easy for you, as is accepting it. This can make you reluctant to recognize problems or the need for corrective action. Second, you may tend to assert yourself too strongly when pushing for acceptance of an idea based on what you feel is the best course of action for your clients. This can make you appear manipulative and controlling. Third, you want to envision the best for your clients, and may not be realistic about their practical limitations. Suggestions You are naturally very gentle and nurturing, but when needed, be willing to challenge your clients and associates, or acknowledge flaws in your plans and thinking. Be personable in critiquing others, but impersonal in taking criticism. If you are not immediately successful in controlling outcomes or selling your preferred alternative, do not overtly show disappointment or become overly critical. Rather, allow your clients time to digest your proposals and make decisions in a manner they are comfortable with. Learn to recognize people who are more introverted, intuitive or analytical than you, and be realistic, pragmatic and patient when negotiating with them. Do not see your clients in such an optimistic light that you push them to be or have more than they are comfortable with. careers@sibcycline.com Page 7 of 9
Introduction to Personality Type: Personality tests have been used for decades to help people learn about their personal preferences and tendencies. Properly interpreted, your personality type can be helpful in developing your career, your relationships, and yourself. The personality test you just completed is based on the work of Swiss psychiatrist, Carl Jung. Your personality type is based on four measurements: How you focus your energy, absorb and process information, make decisions, and organize your life. Focus Energy Receive Information Make Decisions Structure Life Extroverts (E) Energized by External People and Events Intuitives (N) Value Big-Picture Ideas and Possibilities Thinkers (T) Consider Objective and Logical Impacts Percievers (P) Keep Life and Events Casual and Open Ended Introverts (I) Energized by Internal Ideas and Experiences Sensors (S) Value Practical and Realistic Common Sense Feelers (F) Consider Subjective and Interpersonal Impacts Judgers (J) Keep Life and Events Scheduled and Settled Combined, these four measurements indicate sixteen different personality types: The Artists The Stewards The Counselors The Planners ESTP Ringmaster ESTJ Director ENFJ Mentor ENTJ Mobilizer ISTP Troubleshooter ISTJ Collaborator INFJ Consultant ENTP Entrepreneur ESFP Headliner ESFJ Advocate ENFP Motivator INTJ Guru ISFP Virtuoso ISFJ Trusted Advisor INFP Optimist INTP Crackerjack Page 8 of 9
