3 P r o d u c t s Chemicals Our range of chemicals starts with basic petrochemicals and inorganics for captive use, and extends to intermediates and specialties for the external market. Plastics BASF is one of the leading global producers of styrenics, engineering plastics and polyurethanes. Performance Products Tailor-made products and application processes are important to customers in the performance products segment. Agricultural Products and Nutrition BASF is a major supplier of agricultural products and fine chemicals to the farming, food processing, pharmaceuticals, animal and human nutrition, and personal care industries. Oil and Gas Through our subsidiary Wintershall AG, BASF explores and produces crude oil and natural gas.
