10 CARS Statement - Impact Skill Research To enhance my research and grant-writing skills, I helped my advisor with an NSF S-STEM grant. I assisted in writing the proposal, developing the research protocol, implementing formative and summative assessment methods, mentoring REACH Scholars, and conducting professional development activities. These efforts resulted in $350K in funding and mentoring of over 30 graduate students and 3 conference presentations and proceedings in three years.
