11 Staff Comments about QAPI: I have worked in several different nursing homes and we went from one crisis to another, whether it was survey related, patient care related, missing documentation, increase in pressure ulcers, etc. we had to stop what we were doing and work on the crisis. At this facility, we have current data on each issue and we prioritize a systematic approach to correction, it is much more efficient to operate that way. I wish everyone could see the benefit. Staff Development Coordinator I really like to see where we have improved, that makes me feel good, but I also like to see what I need to be thinking about and working on for improvement. Dietary Staff Member QAPI takes the entire team to succeed! 11
12 Questions? Thank you! Good Luck! Have Fun! Janet Snipes, NHA 12
