1 Cornelio Gonzalez, Ph.D. Executive Director TO: FROM: SUBJECT: Region One Purchasing Cooperative (ROPC) Members Lori Atwood Ramos, MBA, RD Purchasing Coordinator Integrated Pest Management Services Proposal DATE: November 25, 2013 On November 25, 2013 the Region One Board of Directors met to review and approve the recommendations of the Region One Purchasing Cooperative (ROPC), acting on behalf of its members, for award of Integrated Pest Management Services Proposal This proposal allows Region One ESC and its Purchasing Cooperative members to contract for integrated pest management services and includes, but is not limited to inspections of facilities, pest control plan, use of pesticides, rodent control, posting, record keeping, program evaluation and quality control program. On September 18, 2013 the ROPC received four (4) proposals for Integrated Pest Management Services. The following four (4) vendors are awarded: Awards are to all ROPC members requesting Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Services: Award Period: through August 31, 2015, with the option to extend up to one (1) additional two (2) year period Little Joe s Insect and Co. Proposals above are to be based on the premise that there will be no charge for any treatment for pharaoh ants, nuisance ants, carpenter ants or tree roaches that might be required if a district threshold limit is exceeded in any area of a building that has had quarterly perimeter inspection/treatments. There will also be no charge by the contractor for any exterior or interior fire ant treatment if the contractor has performed an annual or bi-annual baiting. The cost to treat German roaches, silverfish, spiders or an occasional mouse (glue boards only) should also be included in monthly bid price.
