3 Active Tracing (AT) page 1 Introduction Dear Active Tracing user, in this manual we present useful information about our new Tracking & Tracing system, the so called Active Tracing (AT). In particular, we inform you about how to login to Active Tracing... look up shipments with AT... request a proof of delivery in AT... setup your personal profile Using My Active Tracing (My AT) with your personal profile can make your shipment search even more efficient and comfortable. In addition to this manual more information can be found online in the AT help pages or with a demo user account. Yours sincerely, The E-Business Team

4 Active Tracing (AT) page 2 1. The Entrance If you enter the following URL your browser will lead you to our German hompage. This page is only available in German whereas AT can be configured for English language. With a click onto the link Active Tracing (Europäische Landverkehre ) on this page you will enter the consignment search via Active Tracing. You will be directly linked to the consignment search

5 Active Tracing (AT) page 3 2. Registration Why register for My Active Tracing? What do you have to enter here? With My Active Tracing you do have additional options which we cannot offer to you by the regulary internet application. These are: - The traffic light function, herewith you can filtering consignments and get them via E- Mail. - A pre-filled customer number. To set-up My Active Tracing correctly we do need your company coordinates (name, address, , etc.). Further more you can define your own user name and password. The language can be pre-defined already to English or German. To register for MyAT please click here...

7 Active Tracing (AT) page 5 3. Login This page is the gate to My Active Tracing. Immediately after releasing your account you can login with your user name and password. Both, the user name and the password was set you during the registration process. To log into MyAT please click here...

10 Active Tracing (AT) page 8 4. Consignment Search You have two different possibilities of searching for a consignment within our AT-system. We differentiate the search with a consignment identification number and the search by combined criterions. The consignment identification number is always unique. Therefore the consingnment details will be displayed immediately. Besides the package-id, which your consignment/package got by a barcode label, you can also search by our order code or our consignment number. As soon as you entered one of these three number, click "search" and you will automatically be forwarded to the consignment details. With the combined criterions you have the possibility of entering every desired combination out of your customer number, your reference, country, city, zip-code, pick-up date and the last status. Whereas your customer number (if not known you can get it at our terminal) and/or your reference is mandatory for a valid search. The pick-up date can be entered manually or by using the "calender". The function "last status" is helping you to minimize the search results to important status information. After keying in all necessary criterions, click "search" to get the search results. Either with a consignment ID......or with a combination of several criterions. Please be aware that we store consignment data for three month in our databases.

11 Active Tracing (AT) page 9 Within My Active Tracing you do not need to fill in your customer number(s) because it is already pre-filled and can be selected via a so called select-box. Mr. Mustermann is logged in! Your customer number (s) is/are already prefilled and can be selected

12 Active Tracing (AT) page Consignment list This page is always displayed, when more than one consignments fits your combined search criterions. Here you have the following handling options: - Consignment details: When you click on the consignment number on the right, you will automatically be forwarded to the consignment details. Here you get further information such as the status history. - Forward/backwards: With the buttons next page / previous page you can navigate through more consignments that fitted your search criterions. - Sort: If you click on the headers of each column, you can sort the content of the whole table by each field upwards and downwards. Initially the table is downwards sorted by the pick-up date. - Filter: When you feel that the amount of consignments is to large, you can reduce the amount of consignments by setting the filter below each header. - Proof of delivery: Always when a consignment is delivered a POD of each consignment is available at the terminal of destination. Here you have the chance to order this POD. Please keep in mind that we charge for each clean POD-request. To order a POD just click on the graph on the right next to the concerned consignment. The document will be sent to you as quick as possible via fax. - Download: The button download at the bottom of the pages enables you to download an excel-file containing all the consignments that fitted your search criterions. You have the additional possibility to reduce or enlarge the amount of displayed fields (e.g. status, date, location, just click on the link column selection. After this just click on the button, download the file in an excel format to a desired folder and work on it on your own computer. This is a possibility to decrease the number of shipments listed. In order to do so, click onto the button. To get to the consignment details, click onto the consignment number To download your shipment information, click here...

13 Active Tracing (AT) page Consignment details Besides the status information you do also get the information of the so called event producing terminal. By this information you do always know which terminal was responsible for which status information. Additionally you get an impression about the geographic flow of your consignment within. With a click on the terminal name an extra window will be opened with the coordinates (address, telephone number) of each terminal for further requests. When you consignment is finally delivered a further information with the name, digital signature, date and time of delivery is displayed. This is helping you and a POD (proof of delivery) is often not necessary any longer. If you still want to request a POD, just click on the icon next to proof of delivery-request. Further more consignment details such as colli, pallets, weight, location of sender or consignee are listed. Also for the communication with our terminals often needed consignment number and order code is indicated. Besides that the status history with date, time, terminal name and status is available for you. With a click onto the Terminal name you get the address coordinates of the status terminal History Within the consignment history (date, time, location, status) of each consignment will be displayed. The digital signature will be shown for almost all groupage details if possible. Further more you have got the option to get a package list of each consignment. Just click on the icon next to package list display. If you click on the package ID you will get an extended package scan history.

16 Active Tracing (AT) page Proof of delivery On this page you can request a proof of delivery (POD) for all consignments with the status delivered, partly delivered, delivery on truck, delivery refused and received by consignee. Of course you can still request the POD via telephone at your responsible terminal. Proof of delivery for your consignments can be requested either from the consignment list or the consignment details. Just click onto the button...

17 Active Tracing (AT) page 15 Please enter in any case your complete coordinates, that we can allocate your request correctly and you can get a quick reply. POD-requests will be answered as quick as possible and this reply time does not deviate from a normal telephone request. For each clean proof of delivery charges 9,- Euro. Fill in your address and contact informations,.. and confirm your request by clicking the send -button. Within My Active Tracing your contact coordinated will be pre-filled by the information of your customer profile. Of course, you can change all the suggested information. Keep in mind that changing your profile accordingly will ease your further requests.

18 Active Tracing (AT) page MyAT Profile Your personal profile can be reached after log in from the page consignment search. Mr. Mustermann is logged in! Click here to adjust your MyAT profile First you reach your personal data of My Active Tracing. Here you can set your personal data and you can also change your password whenever needed. Changes will be active for the current session after you have pressed the button save. Mr. Mustermann is logged in! Here you can adjust your address, communication-and password information. Mustermann is logged in! Please confirm your changes by clicking save!

19 Active Tracing (AT) page Customer number administration Within this screen you can administrate your registered customer numbers by yourself. The following settings can be performed: a. order in which your customer numbers are displayed in the select-box "customer number" of the consignment search screen. b. to ease the identification of your customer number an individual name can be given to each number by yourself. c. definition, if your customer number should be displayed in the before mentioned select-box of the search sreen or not. d. definition, if a customer number should be used for the function "active via ". e. set by yourself, if a customber number should be used only for sender (S), consignor (C) or both (B). f. If you want to delete a customer number from your profile. Just press button delete this has to to be confirmed with the button save Changes will be active for the current session after pressing the button save. Mr. Mustermann is logged in! Sender (S), consignee (C) or both (B)? Here you can administrate your customer number (s) for your most efficient way of using MyAT......and then you should not forget to save your settings.

20 Active Tracing (AT) page Set-Up Consignment List Here you can define which fields you want to have displayed within your consignment list. Please keep in mind that a download of the consignment list will only contain these selected fields. The same goes for the function "active via ". Mr. Mustermann is logged in! Here you define which columns are displayed within your individual consignment list. Please confirm your changes by clicking save.

21 Active Tracing (AT) page Traffic light function (red/green) With means of the traffic light function you do have the option to pre-select important consignments. The setting of the traffic light function works the same way for the green and the red one. Each traffic light is separated into six parts: a. definition for a search with one or more status information. b. for consignments that do have a certain transit time. c. for consignments that have a certain transit time for special consignees. d. for consignments that have a certain transit time for special zip-codes. e. for consignments sent to certain countries. f. for consignments that have a certain transit time for special consignments zones. Mr. Mustermann is logged in! Here you define which consignments will be selected by using the traffic light-function (part a to f). The transit time refers only to consignments with destination germany and is calculating the time between the pick-up and the current date. Consignments with a final status (delivered, directly delivered, partly delivered or consignment canceled) are not displayed after a search. Weekends and national holidays are excluded from this calculation.

22 Active Tracing (AT) page Active via With that function you have the option of receiving your defined "traffic light consignments" automatically via . Your advantage is that you don't have to login again every day to get the desired information from My Active Tracing With the feature "send multiple times" you can determine if consignments selected by the traffic light-function will be send to you via again or not. For instance, if a traffic light-status of a consignement has not changed between two sending rhythms this consignment will be added to your "active-via- -report" when the answer to "send multiple times" is set to "Yes". Example: The status "delivery refused" often stays the same for some days. If you receive our report daily you can define yourself if this consignment with the same status should only be on the list of the first day or also on consecutive reports Mr. Mustermann is logged in! Define your sending rhythm, add referring addresses, set the time for tracing consignments and decide whethter consignments should be send multiple times or not....and do not forget to save If you want to send an directly, just click the button send directly. You also have the option to send an directly to the registered addreses with the button send directly. This will of course not affect your sending rhythm.
