Please consult the Operation Manual and/or help file to find answers to your questions before calling. Fax: Emergency Contact: If you are experiencing difficulty in the field beyond our standard support hours and cannot wait until the following day due to field work requirements. BDI would appreciate that this service is only used as a last resort. 5 1.0 STS-WIFI OPERATIONS MANUAL OUTLINE 1.5 STS-WIFI WARRANTY Bridge Diagnostics, Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for thirty-six (36) months from date of shipment. This warranty shall be void if any products have been subjected to modification, misuse, neglect, accidents of nature, or shipping damage. Batteries have no warranty. All equipment manufactured by Bridge Diagnostics, Inc. is intended for use by a qualified professional only. Under this warranty Bridge Diagnostics, Inc.'s obligation is limited to repairing or replacing (at Bridge Diagnostics, Inc.'s option) of defective products. In no event shall Bridge Diagnostics, Inc. be liable for punitive, exemplary, special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages and the customer shall assume all costs of removing, reinstalling, and shipping of defective products. EXCEPT AS STATED HEREIN, BRIDGE DIAGNOSTICS, INC. MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR MERCHANTABILITY. Before returning any product, Bridge Diagnostics, Inc. technical support must be contacted at or stssupport@bridgetest.com. A technician will help determine the nature of the problem and if the problem cannot be resolved authorization will be given to return the item. A return record will be provided to be filled out and shipped with the defective equipment. Learn how to set up both wireless and wired configurations, PC settings, and disabling of software that can interfere with the STS-WiFi communication. 4.0 STS-WIFI EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS Brief descriptions of all STS-WiFi components and their features. 5.0 STS-WIFI SENSORS STS-WiFi is capable of operating many different types of sensors. This section includes an instruction manual for the BDI Strain Transducer, specifications for other compatible sensors, and instructions for wiring an Intelliducer Plug. 6.0 WINSTS DATA ACQUISITION SOFTWARE WinSTS is the software that controls the STS-WiFi system. This section details all of the functions available within the WinSTS software. 7.0 STS-WIFI OPERATION AND CONSIDERATIONS/LIMITATIONS This section outlines the proper way of employing the various components of STS-WiFi. It is very important to understand the operation limitations of the system before using it in the field! 8.0 RUNNING A FIELD LOAD TEST USING STS-WIFI The system can be used for many different purposes, but its main use is for performing semi-static load tests.
