3 01. High Friction Surfacing Rocbinda is the High Friction Surfacing system with an international reputation for Quality, Performance and Durability. Rocbinda is a two part, cold applied polyurethane resin used in conjunction with 1-3mm calcined bauxite aggregate to produce High Friction Surfacing. Rocbinda BBA HAPAS Type 1 approved system since

4 Rocbinda is one of the few products available which have BBA HAPAS approval for use on bituminous and concrete road surfaces. 3

Traffic Calming - Coloured Surfacing Rocbinda can be used in conjunction with a range of aggregates, both natural and brightly pigmented, to provide a variety of coloured road surfaces for various applications. The use of Rocbinda coloured surfacing draws attention to a change of environment, a particular hazard or highlights other measures implemented to improve road safety. 4

Rocbinda can be used to offer both vehicles and pedestrians an enhanced skid / slip resistant surface whilst also enabling clear demarcation of dedicated parking bays and walkways. 8

10 Roadplates DfT Safety at Street Works and Road Works Act requires steel foot and road plates for use with temporary works to have an appropriate skid resistant surface. Rocbinda provides the ultimate solution. 9
