Carbon/Nitrogen/Protein/Sulfur - TruMac Series Carbon/Nitrogen/Protein/Sulfur in Macro Organic Samples Easily handle characteristically heterogeneous, difficult to prepare, or lowlevel samples with the TruMac carbon/nitrogen/sulfur determinator. Macro sample sizes (up to 3 grams for nitrogen; up to 1.5 grams for carbon/nitrogen; up to 0.3 grams for carbon/nitrogen/sulfur) are quickly analyzed with a low cost-per-analysis. GDS850 Glow Discharge Atomic Emission Spectrometer Glow Discharge Spectrometry utilizes a low-pressure, non-thermal process in which material is uniformly sputtered from the sample surface by a stream of argon ions. The sputtered material is then atomized and excited in a low-pressure plasma discharge, away from the sample surface. 6 GDS500 CCD-Based Glow Discharge Atomic Emission Spectrometer The GDS500A CCD-based Glow Discharge Atomic Emission Spectrometer offers you state-of-the-art technology designed specifically for routine elemental determination in most conductive solid materials. By using the glow discharge method, sample material is uniformly sputtered from the surface. The non-thermal nature of the sampling process makes this an excellent technique for difficult applications. It features improved performance, stability, accuracy, and precision, with rugged construction designed to handle the rigors of a production environment. Calorific Value - AC500 Isoperibol Calorimeter Gross Calorific Content The AC500 determines calorific value, a key indicator of quality and value in solid and liquid fuels, through measurement of the heat released after combustion of a sample. This stand-alone benchtop unit uses a fullyintegrated circulation system for a compact footprint no additional heaters or coolers required. An integral water-measuring station simplifies sample preparation, and a Windows -based operating system uses an electronic thermometer accurate to C to measure temperature every six seconds. Two-channel correction is possible through constant temperature monitoring in both the outer jacket and the calorimeter proper. Calorific Value - AC600 Semi-Automatic Isoperibol Calorimeter Gross Calorific Content Developed to measure the calorific content of solid and liquid fuels, the LECO AC600 semi-automatic isoperibol calorimeter sets the standard for future calorimetry instruments. Its semi-automated operation, combined with the use of thermodynamic TruSpeed, obtains a rapid analysis of calorific content and increased instrument throughput without sacrificing accuracy or instrument precision. AF700 Ash Fusion Determinator Determines Ash Cone Deformation Temperatures in Coal Ash, Coke Ash, and Mold Powders 6 of 7

7 Ash fusion temperatures are a critical quality control parameter in predicting the performance of a specific fuel and evaluating the tendency of a fuel to slag. The AF700 Ash Fusion Determinator automatically monitors ash cone deformation temperatures using Windows -based software. It increases laboratory throughput automatically determining the ash fusibility temperatures (IT, ST, HT, and FT) using the software's Image Recognition Functions (IRF). A complete image history for all analyzed samples can be digitally archived and retrieved to make objective determinations and confirmations of deformation temperatures. Door interlocks and an integrated carbon monoxide detector provide increased laboratory safety. The AF700 offers automated procedures for ASTM D1857 Standard Test Method for Fusibility of Coal and Coke Ash, ISO 540, DIN 51730, and other analog standards. TGA701 Thermogravimetric Analyzer Moisture/Ash, Volatile Content, and Loss-on-Ignition Thermogravimetric analysis is the basic analysis in many industries to determine material weight loss as a function of temperature in a controlled environment. To meet the needs of these industries, the TGA701 Thermogravimetric Analyzer was designed for increased reliability and functionality. Expanded operational controls improve temperature accuracy across the entire range (up to 1000 C), while a pneumatic carousel assembly improves reliability by eliminating oscillation and increasing position accuracy for automation.
