I am home to lots of different animals, including cows I can be found all over the country I m looked after every day by a farmer I mix and heat the milk to separate it into two parts; skimmed milk and cream I need to have lots of food to keep the animals full and happy I will sometimes add different things into the product, like strawberries or chocolate I can be very muddy, so if you re coming to visit, wear your wellies I get very busy in the summer when the weather is hot I can be really big, with hedges separating my fields The product I make can go into supermarkets, but also into vans that drive around Supply Chain 1 (Ice Cream - IC) Dairy Farm & Creamery

I m outdoors and really rather large I m looked after by a farmer I ve got lots of fields where things grow I used to be powered by water or wind, but now I m mostly electric I could be home to lots of animals too I grind the wheat crop that the farmer give me into a fine powder You might see a combine harvester, or a tractor I put the fine powder into bags, big and small The crops you ll need are grown on me You can buy the bags of what I produce at the supermarket Supply Chain 2 (Bread - BR) Wheat Farm & Mill (4/6)

You can use what I make to bake with I put the loaves in great big ovens, so I get very hot I m looked after by a miller I put the cooked loaves into bags, sometimes it s sliced, sometimes it s left whole I get deliveries of flour from the Mill I m looked after by a Baker I mix the flour with water and yeast in great big mixers When the product is ready to go, someone will come and collect it from my shelves I cut and shape the mixture into loaves As soon as I receive the product I try and move it on quickly, so it doesn't go stale Supply Chain 2 (Bread - BR) Mill (2/6), Bakery & Warehouse (2/4)

I produce a soft and fluffy material that can be used in lots of different products, including clothes I am looked after by a farmer and lots of workers I grow rows and rows of bushes that have little bolls of material on I turn the fluffy material into layers of fabric I am more productive if I am in hot climates I cut the fabric to make sure it s the right size for the product I sometimes have machines that do work for me I have lots of machines that do the work for me I need to make sure I grow the crops in the right seasons I need to make lots of small pieces to build the full product Supply Chain 3 (Toy - TO) Cotton Farm & Weaving 4/5

I can produce wasted material if things go wrong I can turn the liquid I pull up into lots of things, including fuel for cars I drill down into the earth to pull liquid up I turn a liquid product, into a solid product The raw material I pull up can be used to make lots of different things I make products that can be used in lots of different ways to make different products I can be on land, or in the sea I can make things into any colour I want I can be a very dangerous place, so need to be careful I can be bad for the environment if I am not following the rules Supply Chain 3 (Toy - TO) Weaving 1/5, Oil Drilling & Plastic Factory 4/5
