Cross-Suite USER EXPERIENCE Simple to use that s what you can experience when you use the refreshed screens in the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, and SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development solutions. In this release, we have extended support for right-to-left (RTL) writing to the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting solution yet another example of our unique approach to localization. We are also introducing new functionality to our mobile apps for the Android and ios operating systems: Time sheets added to Android (see details in the Core Human Resources and Payroll section of this document) Intuitive list view added to our company organization chart for ios (previously available only on Android) Continuous performance management (CPM) giving administrators more flexibility to configure individual CPM features (goals, coaching, and topics) To help ensure your mobile devices remain secure and efficient to administer, we ve added support for IBM MaaS360 mobile device management for ios and Android. 4 / 11
Workforce Planning Operational Headcount Planning We re pleased to introduce operational headcount planning as part of the SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Planning solution. Leveraging SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, you can now transform operational headcount planning from a once-a-year, static event to a live, continuous method for managers to view and allocate the workforce, including current and planned positions. 5 / 11
Core Human Resources and Payroll SAP SUCCESSFACTORS EMPLOYEE CENTRAL We continue our focus on localization with two new country versions of the SAP Employee Central solution Botswana and Uganda increasing the total number to 84. TIME AND ATTENDANCE Have a question about an employee s overall time calculation? The new time account process simulator enables you to simulate accruals for a particular employee, date, and time account type, which provides a comprehensive view of the accrual calculation and its results for each employee. With this release, we are bringing mobile time sheets to our mobile app for Android OS. Your employees can enter their hours for any work activity, including travel, on their Android mobile device (previously available only on ios). 6 / 11
Talent Management RECRUITING Now you can create custom landing pages on the fly with the career-site-builder feature. You can create landing pages as stand-alone Web site pages to support career events, ad buys, or other campaigns and events that you want to use to increase candidate traffic and engagement. SUCCESSION AND DEVELOPMENT Based on your feedback, we have simplified working with talent pools. In addition to a more simplified layout, you can now define filters and include custom fields each giving you better visibility and flexibility when working with nominations and talent pools. 7 / 11
We re also happy to announce that you can now easily create communities and groups when creating a mentoring program. Powered by the SAP Jam collaboration platform, this new capability can help to increase mentoring program adoption and engagement by improving collaboration and communication. Mentors and mentees who have been matched can easily communicate and collaborate with one another, either as a large group or as part of subgroups. LEARNING We re excited to introduce learning accomplishments, a new way for your workforce and external audiences to target learning goals against topics that interest them, set their pace, and track their progress. This creates a more dynamic and engaging experience. We re also adding an all-new catalog calendar view so that courses are more easily visible, with filtering by date, category, location, source, delivery method, or even relevant topics. These features are designed to provide a more engaging, simple experience. Finally, the SAP SuccessFactors Learning solution continues to expand our open content network, bringing on edx as a content partner. EdX s broad, high quality content ranges from leadership principles to leveraging Big Data. 8 / 11
Platform and Technology INTEGRATION The enhanced business integration builder feature now enables replication of employee master data and organizational data from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to the SAP ERP application based on simple back-end configurations. A new productized integration based on the SAP Cloud Platform Integration service is available to connect SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central with Microsoft Active Directory. This integration eliminates the need for custom integrations and lowers risk and effort in implementation and maintenance. 9 / 11
SAP Jam NEW INTEGRATION WITH SAP SUCCESSFACTORS SUCCESSION & DEVELOPMENT SUPPORTING MENTORING AND COACHING Integration with the SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development solution for mentoring and coaching adds new capabilities and business record data to the mentoring and coaching work pattern. This new integration enables convenient creation of SAP Jam groups through the mentoring and coaching feature, as well as automatic invitation of matched mentors and mentees making it easier to manage the mentoring campaign. NEW EMPLOYEE SUPPORT WORK PATTERN FOR KNOWLEDGE-BASE CONTENT AND SELF-SERVICE INFORMATION ACCESS A new employee support work pattern enables a new usage scenario for SAP Jam generated through collaboration with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. This scenario, along with the accompanying new capabilities for knowledgebase articles and optional integration with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, provides numerous advantages for simplifying HR processes and employee access to information. Service desks across your organization, including but not limited to HR, IT, sales, and marketing, can utilize these new capabilities to create, store, and publish knowledge-base articles in a structured fashion. By utilizing SAP Jam as the knowledgebase repository, creation and management of knowledge-base articles becomes more efficient and it becomes easier for employees to find and access them. GLOBALIZATION: PROVIDING PRETRANSLATED CONTENT ON HOME PAGES AND GROUP OVERVIEW PAGES A new capability addresses the need for pretranslated content for specific languages. Company and group administrators can provide alternate language variations for menu labels, widget titles, image captions, and text widgets. This capability can increase content distribution and make content consumption easier for a diverse workforce. 10 / 11
