4 post mounted signs Post mounted signs are free standing structures that can be simple and functional or striking and sophisticated depending upon their intended function and the overall style and look you wish to create on your campus.. When deciding on position and size you need to consider the distance the signs need to be read from. The required reading distance will then determine the letter size and consequently the overall sign size. 6 modular signs Environments change, some more frequently than others, and therefore for the majority of schools it is important to have a signage solution that provides the flexibility to update the information displayed quickly and efficiently. Whether it is room identification you require, directional signage, totem or a post mounted system, we can offer a range of modular solutions to choose from. 8 totem signs 21 Monoliths or totem signs are freestanding structures that can be constructed in many different materials and can be illuminated to increase their impact. The use of monolith signs guarantees maximum visual impact for your school and presents important information in a striking vertical manner which can be seen from the road. Our sign consultant here at Scorpio will be pleased to advise on size and positioning of such signs.

10 panel signs These are flat style signs that are normally positioned on walls and fences and with the addition of sign rail to the back can also be post mounted. They can be used in their large sizes as main school signs mounted directly onto walls, or in their smaller sizes for directional and instructional signage around your school grounds or campus. 12 tray style signs Built to give a three dimensional look and provide greater rigidity than a flat sheet panel sign, these are a good option when a sense of prescence and purpose is required. They can be illuminated by fret cutting the letters out of the front of the tray and then placing a white or coloured diffuser inside the tray with a light source behind (similar to the sign illustrated). With the advent of high intensity, long life LED light sources these days, the overall effect and longevity is well worth the extra cost. We can advise accordingly.

14 architectural letters Built up or raised letters and logos are individual, stand alone elements attached to the elevation of a building. Strictly speaking they would not have a background (other than the building itself). They are so called because they add to the architectural characteristics of the building as opposed to panel signs that tend to disfigure or obliterate parts of the building if sized or sighted insensitively. Can be illuminated (either through the front face or by creating a halo effect around each letter) as per the example in the picture. 16 wayfinding signs One of the most vital types of sign for all schools and colleges to help direct and inform pupils, staff and visitors. Whether it be directional signs or door nameplates we highly recommend that you have some form of wayfinding throughout your campus. 18 window art Decorative window film is being used more and more in modern architectural buildings because of their use of large areas of glass, which give school rooms and entrances ample amounts of light. They also offer a blank canvas, which you can use to subtly display a message or theme. We offer a wide range of decorative window films that can add drama to your facade. From etched effects that afford a bit more privacy to a tinted frosted effect that does the same with a hint of colour.
