Manufactured in Europe, at RIDI s state-of-the-art facility in Germany, each system U-Line, H-Line and Venice is available in a wide-range of profiles and offers outstanding reliability and consistency at an affordable price. All systems are designed on CAD equipment and our modernised, automated production guarantees an excellent product. 3 3 U-LINE Simple to install junction points allow for both linear lines and right-angle arrangements for increased flexibility. The extrusion can offer many possibilities. Suspended versions are available with indirect light for a balanced distribution.

4 4 H-LINE With an extra channel for uplighting, the suspended H-LINE system is ideally suited to eradicate dark ceilings, showcasing beams and features or working with the increased use of acoustic panels, providing ample downlight and necessary upward illumination for contrast. Different sources and differing numbers of light units can be used in both the upper, and lower channels.

5 The recessed VENICE fittings blend seamlessly with the abundance of natural light and ordered lines of the décor and furnishings. 5 VENICE 3 In short runs the VENICE system co-ordinates with glass fronting in the library to give a linear broken line of light. At this sports facility the extended VENICE runs follow the lines and perspective of the block concrete architecture. The natural aluminium finish also complements the natural interior finishes. 3

6 6 LED and light sources Standard systems are available in regular T5 fluorescent or T5 seamless SLS lamps that create continuous lighting effects behind opal diffusers. R-TUBE Clear R-TUBE Opal SLS lamp Launched as a standard option, the RIDI R-Tube concept allows the specifier to select an LED equivalent to work within a fluorescent optic. R-Tube is a factory-fit option and unlike inferior retrofit LED tubes is built into the luminaire at point of manufacture. This offers guaranteed photometric performance and CE marking. Please see website for details of our R-Tube concept. Also available for Venice system will be a dedicated LED board version that is optimised to allow seamless light behind a range of diffusers. Please contact RIDI for details. Additional fixtures A range of accessories is available for you to create complete systems and add on additional accent products. Sensors and emergency lighting can also be incorporated into the system as well as bespoke angles and junctions. Controlling optics Satinised opal diffuser U-LINE, H-LINE and VENICE are available with a range of controllers. Opal and prismatic diffusers remain the most popular choice, but a range of aluminium cross-blade louvres and asymmetrical wallwashers are also available. Aluminium blank sections can also be provided where needed or used for incorporating sensors and LED emergency heads. 7 U-LINE U-LINE THE U-LINE system provides clean lines of light in extrusion lengths of up to three luminaire modules long and can be joined together to form infinite lengths. The shallow profile of the housing makes for subtle installations and the suspension cables can be adjusted to work with the structures of any installation, including beams, alcoves or acoustic and thermal management baffles. With a focused source of directional light which can be downward or upward due to the reversible structure, the luminaire casing can also be exposed at the rear to offer a controlled spread of uplight. This system features pre-wired connectable gear for easy plug and go. Gear trays can also be slotted in at any point of the extrusion. 7 H-LINE H-LINE Our H-LINE system utilises an additional lighting channel to create an H-shaped cross section. This feature offers the same downlight performance of U-LINE but with the option of a dedicated uplight channel for installations requiring even illumination to either the ceiling or features above the suspended luminaire. The outputs of the up and downlights can also be altered for increased creativity and flexibility in scene setting. The system is available in the same length permutations as U-LINE. As with U-LINE the fittings are pendant mounted and with tool-less adjustment for height and alignment, the lighting channels are linked through simple-to-install junction points, available in a number of configurations. VENICE VENICE For recessed and surface mounted installations requiring continuous lines, the VENICE system is the perfect solution. VENICE presents an immensely flexible system for direct lighting only with arrangements of overlapping lamps for seamless lines that eliminate blackspots and light leaks. Gear trays are moveable due to the flexible embedded track-style wiring system. The system enables easy dimming and emergency options as well as additional sensors that can be plugged in. The extended light channels created with VENICE offer striking lines that accentuate the perspective of a building s architecture, effectively highlighting the features of a space while simultaneously providing an efficient light source. VENICE advanced connection system The patented connection system used here has been taken from our highly successful LINIA-VL trunking system. Developed in conjunction with WAGO in Europe, the connection system has been tried and tested in RIDI s largest selling product and has been successfully incorporated into the latest version of VENICE. As a result we are able to share some of the add-on options that have been developed for LINIA. The system can be supplied in 5-, 7- and 11-core and operates variable switched lives for increased flexibility. LINIA-VL trunking system
