ERP What s Our Story? ERP is edited and published by Paul Esherwood. Paul started his career in publishing more than 20 years ago and went on to own many of the UK s most successful and widely-read corporate finance magazines. By the early-00s, as everyone went digital crazy, the appetite for monthly print publications was declining and Esherwood sold his magazine business in 2004. Since then he has built a business in the ERP Sector ERP-Resources a hybrid consultancy and recruitment agency focused solely on ERP that has worked on many of the UK s largest and most complex ERP Programmes. Having spent the last 10 years working alongside the ERP Community, he believes there is an opportunity for a strong, independent and insightful trade journal that promotes and interrogates the ERP sector and those that work in it. Esherwood said: Magazines and trade journals may be less popular than they used to be as many organisations focus their efforts on attracting new customers online. However, there is so much digital content out there now, I m really not sure how much of it is actually being read and I m convinced that it doesn t galvanize people and ideas in the same way that print media can. Our research has shown us that there is significant appetite for an independent voice in the ERP Community. I have a track record of bringing new publications to market successfully and ERP Today will quickly establish itself as a must-read for anyone involved with the ERP Sector.
