OBJETIVE Our goal is the construction of a multipurpose port terminal Sea & River nature; privately owned, intended for the public service. MULTIMODAL PORT SERVICES SUBTERMINAL AND AREA - 1ST STAGE: Dry bulk storage yards. 1. Hydrocarbons area: 12.718 m² Bulk liquid storage yards. 340.000 storage barrels. Yards of container and general cargo. 320 containers - TEU stacking. Container area: 4.400 m² Zone of administrative and services building. Dry bulk area: 1.358 m² Wind energy with a electric generation. 4. General cargo area: 1.483 m² 18.000 mt³ in warehouse. 5. Project cargo area: 1.392 m² 20.000 mt³ open storage. Constant supply drinking water, fire protection systems and other services to the cargo. 30.000 Tons in silos.
INFRASTRUCTURE DOCKS The port, in its conceptual design comprises five different areas: Maneuvering area berthing dock. Loading and unloading barges area. Cargo storage area. Area of administrative, maintenance and security.
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
PORT INFRASTRUCTURE Elevated and interconnected platforms viaducts and walkways over water Engineering driven piles into the river bed, topped by layers of ferroconcrete. Three platforms connected by walkways and viaducts will be built together. SHORTE PLATFORM Is is subdivided into a larger platform and six smaller; all interconnected by walkways and viaducts, where the storage tanks of liquid bulk are located. SHORTE PLATFORM Storage containers open courtyards, closed area warehouses and area of building operational and administrative offices; facilities for operations of maritime, river and port activity
ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS Royal Port S.A. It will comply with the provisions of current regulations, implementing sustainability criteria in the development of its activities. During the construction and operation stages of the project, the high environmental standards that underpin the company's environmental policy will be met. GENERATION OF CLEAN ENERGY Our own wind farm will be built and we will have hydraulic power generation taking advantage of the Magdalena river movement. According to the law 1715 of 2014 that promotes the development and use of non-conventional sources of energy.
PORT OPERATIONS FLUVIAL Transport System: Convoy MARINE Maneuvers with last generation tugboats: 1. Liquids: Barges double hull tanks. 1. Routing and Approach to access channel to the port. 2. Dry: Barges Type "Hopper". 2. Berthing and Departure from port facilities. 3. General cargo over Deck with "deck" barges. 3. Assistance Pilot Boats and Transportation of personnel, from and to the port.
Additionally, the port will have: CREWBOATS & SP EEDBOATS ASSISTANCE FOR SMALLER LOADS AND VIP TRANSPORT HELICOPTER TO COMPLEMENT THE COMERCIAL AND OPERATIONAL NEED OF THE PORT,
