EXECUTIVE SUMMARY M/s COREL PHARMA CHEM PVT. LTD. is a proposed project located at is planning to manufacture S.O. Chemicals @ total 2000 MT/Month located at Survey No. 473 & 481, Borisana, Kadi THOL Road, Kadi, Dist : Mehsana,, Gujarat (NG)-382715, The project falls under category A, section 5(f) of EIA notification 2006 and amendment thereof. The site is well connected with road and railway, nearest city Kadi and there is no national park, wildlife sanctuary, eco sensitive areas in surrounding 10 km radius. The project doesn t fall under CRZ boundaries. INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT BACKGROUND INFORMATION Identification of project and project proponent. M/s. COREL PHARMA CHEM PVT. LTD.is planning to manufacture S.O. Chemical @ total 2000 MT/Month located at Survey No. 473 & 481, Borisana, Kadi Thol Road, Kadi, Dist : Mehsana,, Gujarat (NG)-382715, M/s COREL PHARMA CHEM PVT. LTD. is promoted by Mr. Kiritbhai R. Patel. Brief description of nature of the project. The project falls under category A, section 5(f) of EIA notification September 2006 and amendment December, 2009. Hence Environmental Clearance is applicable to the proposed project. Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region This unit M/s. COREL PHARMA CHEM PVT. LTD. will be able to Mechanical Evaporator the demand of existing plant. The unit will use good faith efforts to employ local people from the nearby villages depending upon the availability of skilled & un-skilled man-power surrounding the project site. In operation phase, the proposed project would require significant work force of non-technical and technical persons. Migration of highly education and skilled experience will result in increase of literacy in the surrounding villages. This area is hometown of the project owner. This project is imported for domestic market and export market. It is big opportunity for export earnings. In our products has no competition with china and other Asian countries. Employment Generation (Direct and Indirect) due to the project

The proposed project will give direct employment to local people based on qualification and requirement. In addition to direct employment, indirect employment shall generate ancillary business to some extent for the local population. In operation phase, the proposed project would require significant work force of non-technical and technical persons. Migration of highly education and skilled experience will result in increase of literacy in the surrounding villages. Details of alternate sites considered and the basis of selecting the proposed site, particularly the environmental considerations gone into should be highlighted.

Major factors involved in the selection of site are listed below: Proposed project site is in the Industrial Area which is declared as non critical area. The project site is located on level ground, which does not require any major land filling for area grading work. Proximity to Raw Material suppliers. Site is very well connected by road and railway. Availability of Power, Water, etc. Many industries located in this area. Size or magnitude of operation. Raw material required along with estimated quantity, likely source, marketing area of final products, Mode of transport of raw Material and Finished Product. We shall procure the raw material from domestic market by roads. Finished Product will be transported using roadways. Please refer Form 1, Annexure IB for process details. 3.7 Resource optimization / recycling and reuse envisaged in the project, if any, should be briefly outlined. In this project water shall use in process, RO system and gardening. There shall be less waste water

generated. ETP shall provide for treatment of effluent having mostly inorganic salt and maintained the zero discharge system by providing mechanical evaporator. 3.8 Availability of water its source, Energy/power requirement and source should be given. Water Source: The source of water for the proposed project shall Mechanical Evaporator through ground water (Bore well). Total water requirement for the proposed project will be 129 KLD startup of maximum capacity. In this area ground water level is good. Electricity Requirement: Electricity shall be obtained from UGVCL Kadi. White Coal/ Briquettes shall be used as a fuel for Boiler. LDO will be Thermic Fluid Heater. Waste Water generation & Management plan The total waste water generations from Industrial will be 13.0 KLD. The waste water shall generate mainly cooling tower, boiler blow down and plant process cleaning water. This waste water mainly contain salt. The effluent will be treated in ETP and treated effluent shall be evaporated in Mechanical Evaporator. 8 KLD Domestic effluents shall be disposed through septic tank & Soak pit. Details of water consumption and waste water generation are shown in Form 1, Annexure V. Hazardous waste generated from the process & maintenance. Empty drums and bags is hand over to authorize vender for further recycle. The Management of Hazardous waste will be done as per Hazardous Waste Management Rules 2008. Existing land use pattern (agriculture, non-agriculture, forest, water bodies (including area under CRZ)), shortest distances from the periphery of the project to periphery of the forests, national park, wildlife sanctuary, eco sensitive areas, water bodies (distance from HFL of the river),crz. There is no forest, national park, wildlife sanctuary, eco sensitive areas insurrounding10 Km of the plant boundary. CRZ is not applicable to the project.

Existing Infrastructure This is proposed project activities on there is only open land. Soil Classification NA proposed project is in industrial area. Social infrastructure available. Depending on the growth of the company the required social infrastructure will be provided. Employment would be as per prevailing norms of state government for skilled and unskilled people for the proposed project activity.

5.5Amenities/Facilities Proper site services such as First Aid, Canteen, Drinking Water, Maintenance Workshop, etc. will be provided to the workers. It is proposed to construct one room for labor. PROPOSED INFRASTRUCTURE Industrial Area (Processing Area) Net Area: 56129 m 2. Green Belt Total 18750 square meters land area at proposed site for green belt and plantation. Social Infrastructure Depending on the growth of the company the required social infrastructure will be provided. Connectivity (Traffic and Transportation Road/Rail/Metro/Waterways etc) Road and railways are very close to the working site. There is no proposal to make any new kind of connectivity. Drinking water Management (Source &Supply of water) Water for drinking and domestic will be 10 KLD, which will be met through bore well. Sewerage System Domestic waste water will be disposed septic tank followed by soak pit. Industrial Waste Management We shall treat the industrial effluent in proposed ETP and treated effluent will be evaporated by Mechanical Evaporator and maintained the zero discharge. The solid waste shall dispose to active TSDF site. Solid Waste Management It is proposed that the total wastes from evaporation and ETP will be disposed to the TSDF site. The other used oil and discarded containers will be disposed by registered recycler. Power Requirement & Supply/Source Electricity shall be obtained from UGVCL Ltd. The total power requirement for the proposed project is 500 HP.

REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT (R & R) PLAN Not Applicable PROJECT SCHEDULE &COST ESTIMATES Likely date of start of construction and likely date of completion (Time schedule for the project to be given). We shall start construction after getting environmental clearance and consent to establish. project. Estimated Project cost along with analysis in terms of economic viability of the Total Project Cost for proposed project activity is Rs. 17.5250 crores. ANALYSIS OF PROPOSAL (FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS) Financial and social benefits with special emphasis on the benefit to be local people including tribal population, if any, in the area. The project will be prove time by time for beneficial to the people as the company progress and expands its activity. By CSR activity company management will committed to improve infrastructural facilities for the local people like Educational facilities, Medical facilities, and Transportation facilities etc. as well the local people especially tribal population will be taken as employers which will improve the socio economic environment of the area. ***********************************

ENCLOSURE: I MANAGEMENT AND DISPOSAL OF WASTE STREAM TO BE GENERATED FROM SPILLAGE, LEAKAGES ETC. Management and disposal of waste stream to be generated from spillage: Sr. No. Scenario Vulnerability zone Remarks 1. Fresh air ge in confined space inlet/ventilation system to be fully opened. Ventilation exhaust of vapors Impervious flooring will be done at manufacturing process and materials storage area. The preventive maintenance was planned and carried out as per plan to avoid the failure of valve, pipe lines and other component of transferring line. The spillage will be confined to the dyke area underneath the vessel. The resultant splash of the above chemicals will result in exposure of toxic chemicals to employees. The spillage materials will collect and reuse in process again. ENCLOSURE: II SAFETY DETAILS / PROVISIONS FOR VARIOUS HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS MSDS of all the chemicals will be available at the plant site. We will follow all the specific / general safety provision as per the MSDS. Proper earthling connections for the all the equipments, i.e. lines and similar operations will be given. All the drums transferring will be done after providing the suitable earthing, and with transferring hose and dip pipe separately. For opening the bunks of the drums the company will use wooden opener or non sparking tools only. Utmost care will be taken to avoid source of spark or shifting of drums, when flammable chemicals transferring are on.

Drum trolley will be used for shifting of drums from one place to another place. ENCLOSURE: III OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH HAZARDS FROM THE PROPOSED MANUFACTURING ACTIVITIES AND PROPOSED MEASURES TO PREVENT THEM. Company has planned all the necessary control measures for no health hazards to the workers and to keep the risk of accidents to a minimum from the proposed manufacturing activities. Storage & Handling of Hazardous Chemicals: Storage of hazardous chemicals will be kept as minimum as possible. All drum / barrels with hazardous chemicals have labels indicating the contents and warning of the hazard. Necessary information on safe handling and first aid measures will be available on the label. Workers dealing with hazardous chemicals will be trained on health risk and safe handling. Exposures to hazardous chemicals will be minimized. Hazardous chemicals will be transferred through closed piping system. We will provide separate storage section for storage of hazardous and non hazardous raw materials. Process Vessel and other Equipment related: Checking of process vessels and equipment will be carried out regularly. Records related to maintenance and its planning schedules will be maintained. Fire related: Overhead water storage tank with adequate capacity will be provided. Emergency power supply through DG set. Fire extinguisher will be provided. Contact numbers of nearest fire agency will be provided. Electrical related: Checking of all earthling, wiring & connection will be carried out regularly. Safety related: Adequate types of personal protective equipment will be provided and also safety training will be provided. Emergency shower and eye wash station will be available at the worksite. Arrangement for 24 hr medical facilities by contact with nearest health care center / hospital. Pre employment medical check up and annual medical check - up will be carried out and its records will be maintained. Monitoring of occupational hazards like noise, ventilation, chemical exposures etc will be carried out regularly and its records will be maintained.
