Food Safety is our shared responsibility Industry is responsible and held accountable for sourcing and producing safe food products Government sets policy and enforces regulations pertaining to food safety standards in production. Academic institutions conduct research, teaching and extension to promote food safety Consumers practice proper selection, handling, preparation and serving techniques. 4
