Employer Presentations For a detailed list, refer to Information Sessions under Events. We strongly urge you to attend all presentations in which you have an interest. If an organization you are interviewing with hosts an Information Session, Corporate Presentation or Pre-Interview Session, it is mandatory for you to attend.

Declining Interviews or Attendance at Presentations If you must decline an interview due to a schedule conflict, second round interview with another employer, or if you ve been offered a job or internship, send an email to the contact person informing him/her of your particular situation. Please copy student.recruiting@bc.edu on your message so we have a record of your communication. This will allow an alternate candidate the opportunity to schedule an interview time slot in your place. If you are unable to attend a Pre-Interview Information Session, send an email to the contact person informing him/her of your situation. This will prevent you from being listed as a no show.

Job Offers It is imperative to act professionally when accepting and declining employment offers. If you need assistance in evaluating an offer, or negotiating the salary, please contact a member of the Career Center staff. Do not accept an offer if you intend to continue interviewing! When you accept an offer, you are agreeing to work for that specific organization Any candidate who has reneged on an acceptance offer obtained through the Recruiting Program may be suspended from all services provided by the Recruiting Program office.

Recruiting Policies Failure to abide by the Campus Recruiting Agreement may result in the suspension of campus recruiting services provided by the Career Center Recruiting Program office. Employers also have policies to follow especially as they relate to job/internship offers. We don t want employers putting undue pressure on interview candidates to accept their employment offers. Please review the Employer Recruiting Policy to identify the specific deadline which relates to your particular situation.

Supplementing Your OCR Job Search Search for Non-OCR positions UCAN internship database Vault.com WetFeet.com Network! Use LinkedIn and the BC Alumni Career Network located in Agora Make an appointment with a counselor at the career center!

When you re finished Make sure you log out of EagleLink when you finish. Upon completion of this Orientation, please e-mail student.recruiting@bc.edu informing us that you have viewed it in its entirety.
