POSITION DESCRIPTION / PERFORMANCE EVALUATION Job Title: Chief Financial Officer Prepared by: Date: Supervised by: Administration Approved by: Date: Job Summary: Manages all aspects of finance operations, including general accounting, billing and accounts receivable management, fiscal analysis, financial planning, payroll, account payable, general ledger, billing, and collections. Preparation of monthly financial statements and productivity reports for management team and governing board; supervises business office. Deals with patients with an extensive amount of stays, and verifies billing and payments. Trains, supervises, and orientates department employees effectively. Oversees the performance of all those involved in the business office. 1

Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices. Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.
