Title and Reporting Relationships Position title: Domain Architect; Integration Reporting to: Head of Architecture & Design Location: 581 Great South Road, Penrose, Auckland 1061 Purpose of the Role As a part of the Strategy and Architecture team, provide strategic leadership, development and management of the Regional Integration Architecture. This role will ensure that the Integration Architecture forms part of and aligns to the enterprise architecture, while ensuring architectural compliance at the programme and project level. The role will also participate and contribute to the necessary governance forums to safeguard the integrity of the domain and enterprise architecture. A key component of the role is to establish a domain level integration architecture, which forms part of the wider enterprise architecture for the region enabling the Northern Region DHB's to deliver key strategic business and IT initiatives. The role requires emphasis on defining, documenting, optimising and integrating the flow of information not only throughout the organisation but also with key external parties including Primary Care Providers (including GP practices), other DHBs, NGOs, community providers, vendors and patients. The use of digital process enablement and associated technologies being paramount The role will deliver the following responsibilities: Assist with the adoption of an Enterprise Architecture and transformation vision and standards based HISO/TOGAF standards. Establish and roll out the Northern Region Integration Architecture. Act as the custodian of the Integration Architecture for the Northern Region. Participate and contribute in required governance groups to ensure the safeguarding of the agreed Northern Region Enterprise Architecture. Review and contribute to the Integration Architectures at the High Level Solution Architecture level. Through effective communication and education, promote and build understanding of the Northern Region Integration Architecture. Develop future state integration architecture and supporting roadmap (including transitions states) based on DHB business and IS strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external and be seen as a trusted advisor to the DHBs. Liaise with Regional and National architects as required. Provide advice and validation on strategic alignment to solution design and project teams with regards to integration architecture compliance. Qualification, Experience and Training Requirements Essential Preferred 5+ years Integration Designer experience across a broad range of industries. Familiarity with architecture modelling standard Archimate and UML. 5+ years Integration Architect as part of a EA function working on complex, large scale transformations. In-depth practical understanding of integration patterns, the application of different integration approaches and scenarios, across large enterprise. Experience with the full range of integration technologies and relevant components, including: BPM, BAM, BPEL, Business Rules. ESB and SOA API Registry, API Gateway and API Manager Experience with architecting, designing and implementing RESTful APIs, SOAP Webservices and JSON Services. Experience in API Lifecycle, API Management and Micro Services Experience with establishing and driving integration governance, standards, and practices. Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the Northern Region related organisations. Operational familiarity with at least one major EA repository tool (ARIS, SPARX etc.) Experience in working with HL7, SNOW MED CT, CDA and FHIR standards.
