What is the Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award? Companies which prioritize their employees development showcase this belief through their investments in learning and radiate this value throughout their culture. The Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award was created by Dale Carnegie & Associates to recognize companies who are dedicated to the ideal that their human capital is as important to the overall success of the organization as any technology, patent or business strategy. In the past few years, our Leadership Award has been presented to some of Dale Carnegie Training s most progressive and creative clients, as well as companies that we have yet to work with. The first Dale Carnegie Leadership Award was presented in 1985 to The Ford Motor Company. Previous winners also include: Coca-Cola, Adidas, The Boeing Company, Wal-Mart, Campbell Soup and The Four Seasons Hotel. Wipro Technologies was the first Indian recipient of this award in 2007, followed by the Union Bank of India, Axis Bank, Piaggio Vehicles and Mahindra & Mahindra in later years. We believe that these types of organizations should be recognized for putting their people first. The Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award is the most prestigious annual honor aimed at highlighting advances in people development.

How can I nominate my organization? The jury for the Global Leadership Award includes an esteemed panel from Dale Carnegie & Associates, New York. The judging criterion involves a thorough assessment of recent investments in coaching, training and organizational development linked to people performance. The factors taken into consideration include key goals and initiatives under the 3 broad categories of Organizational Structure, Learning & Development (L&D) and Employee Engagement. The primary sub-categories under these are: The organization s overall L&D strategy and its alignment to business goals. The innovation showcased and the planned execution of this strategy to ensure results. The evaluation of the company s most impactful L&D project in the past year. The final determination of the winner of the Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award will be decided upon by the judging panel based on the quantity and quality of the completed application forms received by the deadline.

Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award: Process of Selection: Round 1 Shortlist Contenders: An internal team assesses each application and filters out entries that are invalid or do not meet the selection criteria. Round 2 Determine Finalists: A group meeting is held to evalutate and rate the shortlisted applications and further select the top 3 nominations. Round 3 Select Winner: 3 finalists are submitted to the global jury which identifies the winner of the Global Leadership Award. Evaluation Criteria Quality Relevance Impact 1.
