Program Overview Who is eligible to participate in PowerUP? All Westinghouse employees are eligible to participate in the PowerUP program. Contractors and joint venture employees (and, for the U.S. only, PCI union and Customer Field Support employees) are not eligible for participation. Incentive-level managers are not eligible to participate in the rewards aspect of the program but, they can receive the Thank You recognition. PowerUP is an everyone-to-everyone program where peers are encouraged to recognize others, regardless of job function or geography, as are managers and leaders. We designed it this way to help build a One Westinghouse culture of recognition and collaboration across Westinghouse. What are the reasons for recognizing someone through PowerUP? PowerUP aligns our recognition efforts with Westinghouse s business strategy and offers a consistent, global approach to recognition. PowerUP offers two recognition programs, one focused on our Core Values and one on healthy Nuclear Safety Culture traits. When each of us leverages the Core Values and traits of a healthy Nuclear Safety Culture every day in our own work, we drive the success of Westinghouse as a whole. Core Values Respect. We care about each other and value what everyone brings to the table. We believe in strong leadership that builds respect through employee engagement and communication. Excellence. Our operations put safety first nuclear, industrial and occupational with the highest expectations for outstanding performance, quality and delivery always. Creativity. Innovation is in our DNA. We value collaborative thinking that turns ideas into solutions that improve life and tackle challenges even before a problem may exist. Integrity. We do what we say with honesty and fairness even when no one is looking, and we're accountable for the results. Passion for customers. We are driven by our customers success, so it s important to be where they are so we can better anticipate their needs and exceed their expectations. Execution. We plan our work and work the plan, with flexibility, agility, a solid strategy and superior technology (FAST). We anticipate and respond to an ever-changing, global marketplace with a relentless pursuit of safety, continuous improvement, learning and efficiency. Traits of a Healthy Nuclear Safety Culture Personal Accountability. All individuals take personal responsibility for safety. Questioning Attitude. Individuals avoid complacency and continuously challenge existing conditions and activities in order to identify discrepancies that might result in error or inappropriate action. Effective Safety Communication. Communications maintain a focus on safety. Leadership Safety Values and Actions. Leaders demonstrate a commitment to safety in their decisions and behaviors. The process of planning and controlling work activities is implemented so that safety is maintained. 2

What are the PowerUP award levels and approvals for each? A variety of award levels are available to recognize varying levels of contribution some having a meaningful but smaller-scale impact, others with significant broad-reaching impact as outlined in the table at right. There is a built-in Award Advisor to help employees select the appropriate award level. These award levels are calibrated to the level of effort, achievement, contribution and result. What are the PowerUP award values? PowerUP awards are point-based and redeemable for the recipient s choice of merchandise or gift cards through the PowerUP platform. The comparable redemption value for each of the PowerUP award levels are shown above in USD, but award values are automatically adjusted in the system to reflect the equivalent buying power in the employee s country. Award Value (Points - US) ethanks Award Name Thank You 750 Bronze 1,500 Silver 2,500 Gold 5,000 Platinum 10,000 Titanium 20,000 Diamond PowerUP awards are considered taxable by local government regulations and as such must be taxed by Westinghouse. PowerUP award recipients will pay the tax and will see it reflected in their pay statements. What are the controls in place to ensure recognition is given fairly and appropriately? Understanding what Westinghouse wants to achieve through recognition and manager approvals help ensure that employees have a chance to experience the recognition they ve earned and also helps avoid duplicate awards. Additional checks and balances, like support in choosing the appropriate award level and detailed, real-time reporting for managers helps ensure that PowerUP is used consistently and fairly. Reports and analytics of recognition activity will also be reviewed at the corporate level. What is my role as an Employee in supporting the success of PowerUP? Make a point in noticing the work your colleagues and peers and recognizing them through PowerUP when they demonstrate our Core Values or healthy Nuclear Safety Culture traits.
