It s a boring, time-consuming job for everyone involved; hours wasted every month on data entry, chasing receipts and invoices, and manual reconciliation admin. Wouldn t it be great if the job was a little smarter? With Curve, you can spend from any of your accounts using just one card, connected straight to Xero. Submit expenses automatically as you pay. LIFE WITH CURVE + XERO No expense headaches Easier bookkeeping Smarter cashflow Curve: the card built with small businesses, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in mind. WHAT IS CURVE? With Curve, you can spend from anywhere from any of your bank accounts using just one smart Curve card, connected to an even smarter app. Curve works just like a normal bank card, and can be used anywhere in the world that accepts Mastercard. In addition, Curve cardholders collect Curve Rewards points whenever they spend at over 45 leading UK retailers, cut out foreign exchange fees on business trips, and can track their purchase history any time straight from the app.

CONNECTING TO XERO WITH CURVE After getting set up with your new Curve card, securely add your existing debit and credit cards to the app. You can find Xero inside the Curve Connect tab. Tap Connect to Xero to begin. Log-in to your Xero account. Choose your company s Xero Organisation. Get to know the basics.

Connect selected cards to your Xero Organisation. Connect any card straight to a Xero Bank Account. It even creates a Holding Bank Account for any cards that don t have direct feeds. Curve s spend categories map automatically to your Xero account codes. The mapping is fully customisable to suit you and your business. And that s it. Your cards are now connected to your Xero Organisation!

I M CONNECTED TO XERO - NOW WHAT? You can edit the integration any time within the Curve Connect Xero menu. Each time a business purchase is made, the correct Xero Bank Account is instantly updated with the transaction data. And automatically marks it as a business purchase in the Curve app. Any time a receipt is scanned for a purchase in Curve, it s instantly synced to the correct line item in Xero as an attachment - no manual upload required! If you forget to scan a receipt on the day, scan it later at your convenience and we ll send it straight to Xero.

THE MAGIC MOMENT No more manual hassle. No more reconciliation errors. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT IS CURVE? Curve allows you to spend from any of your accounts using just one smart Curve card, connected to an even smarter mobile app. Curve is a Mastercard prepaid card, and is accepted anywhere Mastercard is accepted, worldwide. CAN I ADD ANY CARD TO CURVE? You can add most Visa or MasterCard debit, credit, business or personal cards to Curve. We currently do not support American Express, Maestro, Diners Club, JCB, UnionPay or V Pay. HOW DO I CHANGE CARDS IN THE APP? You can change the bank card that you currently have selected in seconds by tapping it in the Curve app. Once you have changed the active bank card, all your transactions made using Curve will be charged to that card until you select a different card to spend with in the app.

HOW DO CURVE TRANSACTIONS APPEAR IN XERO? All purchases made with Curve using a card that you have connected to Xero will appear in your Xero Account Transactions. A Spend Money transaction will be created with the following information plus a receipt (if added): * Date of purchase (DD-Month-YYYY) * Merchant description * Payment reference * Amount spent ( GBP) CAN I ADD RECEIPTS TO CURVE EXPENSE CLAIMS? You can add a receipt for any purchase made using Curve. Head to the Curve Timeline, select any purchase, and tap Add a receipt to scan and upload the receipt. Scanned receipts will be automatically attached to your Account Transactions line item in Xero. Xero will display the transaction detail plus the attachment. You can even receive instant email notifications for every business purchase. Turn on Curve Email Receipts with one tap in the app. WHAT HAPPENS IF I MAKE A PERSONAL PURCHASE USING A BUSINESS CARD ON CURVE? If you have made a purchase on the wrong card, find the purchase in your Curve Timeline timeline and tap Go Back in Time to swap the card the payment was made through. If this is not possible, toggle the This is a Business Purchase to the off position. This will update the transaction in Xero to the Chart of Accounts Owner A Drawings. Please note that if the transaction has been reconciled in Xero, it may no longer be updatable by Curve. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I MAKE A ONE-OFF BUSINESS PURCHASE USING A BUSINESS CARD? If you have made a business purchase on a personal card (that is not mapped to Xero), simply toggle the This is a Business Purchase to the ON position. We ll then send that purchase to Xero as an Expense Claim. CAN I CONNECT XERO TO CURVE IF MY BANK DOESN T HAVE A DIRECT FEED TO XERO? If you don t have a Bank Feed set up in Xero for a card in your Curve app, purchases made with that card will be sent to a Curve Holding Account which you can generate automatically when connecting Curve to Xero. IF I ALREADY HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT SET UP IN XERO, WILL I GET DUPLICATE ENTRIES ON MY BANK FEED? Curve is fully compatible with your existing Xero Bank Feeds - if you already have a Bank Feed set up for your card, it will not be duplicated when you spend with Curve. When connecting your Curve to Xero, you are given the option of connecting each of your bank cards to a corresponding Bank Account in Xero - if you do this, we'll only send transactions from Curve to your Accounting Transactions feed, ready to reconcile with any of your incoming transactions on your existing Bank Feed. DOES CURVE EXTRACT VAT INFO FROM RECEIPTS? Currently Curve does not extract VAT information from your purchase receipts. Curve instead automatically maps every purchase to your existing Xero coding and sends this information instantly to Xero.
