Renewable Energy Lab Location: G-Building, G4-01 (Delivered as a joint course for Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical and Civil engineering streams) : Experimental work related to renewable energy resources and technology is presented in this lab. Different types of renewable energy technology can be investigated. As example, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind turbine, hydrogen production and fuel cells. Students from different background attend this lab (Electrical & Computer, Mechanical & Mechatronics, Chemical and Civil Engineering). This laboratory is equipped with: Alternative Energy 40036 Heat lamp. Solar assembly Digital thermometer. Wind turbine and fan. Solar oven, balloons, pith balls, and wood Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology The equipment in this set use to demonstrate and test PEM Fuel Cells (Proton Exchange

Membrane) and PEM electrolysers. Different experiments can be implemented from this set as follows: Solar energy Solar hydrogen production and storage Solar hydrogen system H2/O2, H2/Air Fuel cell vehicle and solar hydrogen gas station Solar hydrogen system with reversible fuel cell Fuel Cell Monitor U103-U104 The Fuel Monitor (FCM) consists of measuring transformer card and evaluation software. The FCM is available in two versions: As Standard Version U104 Fuel Cell Monitor 3.0 and as extended Version U103 Fuel Cell Monitor Pro 3.0. Both versions provide the possibility of measuring, storing and evaluating various measured transformer card which is connected to the PC using USB cable.

Electrical Engineering Lab Location: Block G, Ground floor The Electrical Engineering laboratory is equipped with Experiments on electrical circuit analysis. It enriches the students understanding basic electrical and electronics circuits connections, Kirchhoff s voltage law (KVL), Kirchhoff s current law (KCL), Thevenin s and Norton theorem.
