This Exhibitor Manual is designed to provide easy access to key information relating to show schedule, exhibitor services available and the necessary order forms. Please pay close attention to the policies and deadlines noted on each form. If you plan ahead and pre-order, you will not only save money but also avoid on-site delays. For your convenience and reference we have provided a Deadline Checklist to help manage your pre-show preparation. The entire Cine Gear Expo staff is at your disposal to answer any questions you may have to make your participation successful. Our aim is to bring you the most qualified buyers in the industry right to your booth to ensure your goals are achieved both at the show and beyond. To assist you in your marketing for the event we have Sponsorship and Advertising packages available. Custom ideas are also welcome. Event promotional materials to enhance booth traffic including attendee registration passes, Cine Gear logos, web banner ads and promotional emails are also available for your use. Option to bring in your own pop-up tent or truss. Indoor Stage Booth Includes: 8 Pipe & Drape Back Wall. 3 side panels. Color Black. There is no carpeting provided throughout the event. Floor coverings, carpet or artificial grass can be brought in or rented. Lighting Indoor Stages: There will be overhead stage lights utilized throughout the stages, in the walkways and hospitality areas. Otherwise the display floor tends to be fairly dark. Lighting Outdoor Backlot: Expo hours on Friday, June 3 is from 12:00pm 8:00pm. Sunset is at 8:00pm. Ambient lighting on NY Streets backlot. If you feel the need for additional illumination in your booth, please bring in your own lights. Questions, please contact the Cine Gear Office. Rentals: Tables, linens, chairs, couches, carpet and more can be ordered directly through Town & Country. Town & Country - Discount Deadline: May 20. Order form in Exhibitor Log In on website. You may also bring in your own tables, chairs and furniture to outfit your booth. Security: There will be on-site perimeter security utilizing Paramount Studios Security Officers from Wednesday, June 1 through Saturday, June 4. However, exhibitors are advised to take items of value with them at any time an exhibit area is left unattended. If it becomes necessary to leave your exhibit unattended during show hours, articles of special value should be given the same consideration. Although adequate security officer service is provided by show management, it is impossible to completely prevent pilfering of items which can be hand carried. Items can be removed from the Expo site Friday night and re-load again Saturday morning. Individual Protection Officers are available to watch your booth overnight for an additional charge. Frequently Asked Questions Advertising Opportunities The Cine Gear Expo News is the Official Show Program. Publication print copies are available to all show guests and mailed by request. Online PDF available by download for one year on the Cine Gear Expo website. Includes Show Feature Stories, Event Map, All Event Programming, Exhibitor Booth Locations, Listings and more. This publication is held on to by many as a permanent resource guide. AD opportunities available in 2016 Print Media Kit available in the Exhibitor Log In section. All AD sizes available. Deadline to Request AD Space, April 29. Exhibitor Listing in Cine Gear Expo 2016 Official Printed Program Opportunity to ADD company color LOGO next to listing for additional fee of $150.00. Alcohol Policy Alcoholic beverages for purchase will be available at the refreshment bars during designated hours. It is prohibited for exhibitors to distribute and store alcoholic beverages on the expo grounds. Distributing or storing alcoholic beverages at your booth is grounds for removal from the show. Alcohol can be served from your booth by hiring a Paramount bartender and purchasing liquor directly through Paramount. Contact the Cine Gear Office for information and a quote. Attendee Parking Guest parking at Paramount Studios is located at three structures: Gower Parking Structure, Van Ness Parking Structure and Lemon Grove Parking Structure. Parking is $20.00. Alternate Parking also available at Raleigh Studios $10.00 and Hollywood Forever Cemetery $15.00. Hollywood Forever closes at 5:30 pm on Saturday June 4, Cost: $15.00 Cash only. All Parking Information posted on Cine Gear website. Bus Service You can plan your bus trip to the studio on the MTA web site. The Hollywood DASH bus stops by the structure on Thursday and Friday only. See its schedule and timetable on website for details. LA Metro line 10 stops at Melrose and Larchmont, about 1 block away from the structure, every day. Taxi Service Taxi location for taxi drop-off is at 783 Van Ness Ave. Taxis can be called for pick up at same location as drop off. See Cine Gear representative on site to make arrangements. Uber/Lyft Find Uber/Lyft link on website. Awards Party Friday June 3: 8:00 pm 11:00 pm. The Awards Ceremony & Networking Party Music, Food, Wine, Beer & Refreshments at The Paramount Theater and Paseo Grounds. Limited complimentary tickets (wristbands) will be provided per exhibiting company. Additional tickets/wristbands are available for purchase prior to the show through The Cine Gear Expo Office or on site at The Info Booth for $100.
Badge Pickup Badges will be available for pickup at The Cine Gear Expo Information Booth on New York Streets Backlot on Thursday, June 2 Saturday, June 4. Please bring your barcoded confirmation page to expedite badge pick-up at the self-service stations. BADGES WILL NOT BE MAILED. Badge Readers/Lead Retrieval Badge Readers may be ordered directly from The Seminar Group. Early orders are encouraged as there is a discount for orders placed by May 20. Order forms can be found in Exhibitor Manual Log-In Section. Badge Registration The key contact person for each exhibiting company will receive an email from Registration@speedbadge.com. By accepting and clicking on this email, you will be able to register your company personnel for badges. This is your key to the online Exhibitor Registration System. Using the link, you may register your exhibitor staff and e-mail them each their own personalized SpeedBadge barcoded registration confirmation. Scan the confirmation page upon checking in at Cine Gear Expo and official show badges print instantly. When your staff members get their confirmation e-mail, they may also view your booth registration list and add additional exhibitors. Limit 12 Exhibitor Badges unless otherwise approved. Booth Identification Sign (Company Banners) Exhibitors may hang their own banners on their canopy or tables. Banner placement on Studio facades must be done by the Paramount Studios Grip Department. Please contact the Cine Gear Expo Office for a quote. Please note that only banners/signage with Exhibiting Company name and information is permissible. All other signage is subject to removal. Children An adult must accompany any person under the age of 18 at all times during the Expo. Electricity If you ordered electricity for your booth, you will need to bring a heavy duty extension cord and power strip for your convenience in arranging your booth setup. Please have trip protection to keep cords covered on the ground. Electricity is ordered directly through the Cine Gear Expo Office, see Exhibitor Booth Order Form. Electricity will be supplied by Friday at the beginning of the show if not before. Exhibitor Dashboard Log In Cine Gear Expo has partnered with Map Dynamics to provide attendees with an Interactive Floor Plan & Online Planner to assist them with researching exhibitors and planning their time at the event. Food trucks including: In-n-Out Burger, Kogi Tacos, Coffee cart and more. Helium Balloons Exhibitors planning on using helium balloons as part of their display must submit the dimensions and specific wording printed on the balloon to Cine Gear Expo, as well as a Flame Retardant Certificate. Please note that helium balloons are considered booth signage and only exhibiting company names are allowed on your balloon. Hotel/Travel Information Cine Gear Expo negotiated preferred rates at Hotels within a few miles of Paramount Studios. Hotels and travel information can be found on the Cine Gear Expo website. Invitations Exhibitors are encouraged to invite their clients and prospects to the Expo. Although management mails thousands of invitations, it is impossible to reach every prospect of every exhibiting company. Therefore, complementary exhibition invitations, print and electronic are provided for your use. Printed invitations are available. Please contact the Cine Gear office and specify quantity desired. PDF Electronic Invitation is available at The Exhibitor Log-In Section of website. You are welcome to produce a special mailing or email blast to your customers and prospects. Cine Gear web banners and logo are available for your marketing use. Exhibitors are encouraged to place a Cine Gear Banner or logo on your website. New Product Info/Press Releases/Anniversaries: Exhibitors are encouraged to submit information regarding new products and innovations for print in the Cine Gear Expo News. As space is limited, submissions are considered on first come first served basis. Please submit only one 150 - word submission per company to: news@cinegearexpo.com. Advertising space is available. Submission deadline: April 29. Onsite sign up for future Cine Gear Events Onsite we will be taking credit card reservations to reserve the same booth you have now for 2017. 30% Deposit is needed to reserve the same booth location for Cine Gear Expo LA 2017. Come to the Cine Gear Expo Info booth to sign up. Private Meeting Rooms - Full Day $1000/Half Day $500 Need a place to get off the show floor and conduct business internally or with clients? Rigging Rigging to Paramount facilities & structures must be approved and handled through Cine Gear office. Selling Items from Your Booth Please have sellers permit available for your company s industry related products. Food and Drink cannot be sold from your booth. Showcases For Showcase rentals, please indicate order on the Exhibit Order Form due April 29. Specialty Rental Items flooring, astroturf, carpet, couches, etc. Town & Country will be able to provide other specialty items not listed on the standard order form.
