The role will ensure the technical direction taken with the worday implementation is consistent with our organisation s overall technical, integration and architectural strategies. This position will ensure effective coordination between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the IT components of the project are delivered on time and are fit for purpose. LOCATION: Sydney/Melbourne DATE REVIEWED: September 2016 PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to: Coordinate design sessions between external vendors and the internal ICT subject matter experts (SMEs) in order to provide the workday implementation partner clear requirements across integration (network connectivity, security, single sign on etc.). Assist with coordinating and executing testing activities between the vendors and program team. Coordinate integration sign-off by all parties Lead vendor management and escalate issues as appropriate to the program manager Reviews and endorses solution proposals from vendors and third parties. Ensure that integrations are completed to time, cost and quality, so as to minimise operational and project impacts. STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP Acts as an expert for IT team for integration; Advises IT teams on integration trends and standards; Drives short and long term integration architecture strategy for the overall IT portfolio; Take into account future aims and goals of the team/unit and organisation when prioritising own and others work; Initiate, prioritise, consult on and develop team/unit goals, strategies and plans; Ensure current work plans and activities support and are consistent with organisational change initiatives; Evaluate achievements and adjust future plans accordingly. SERVICE DELIEVERY Interview internal SME s to understand the use cases that the integration solution must support; Work with the IT Infrastructure Architect to ensure integrated architecture or integration styles meet the business needs of the project for example, bulk file transfer, data federation, message-oriented movement and real-time APIs; Document integration solutions that fit within the organisations larger data integration strategy or initiative, including recommending integration tools; Work with clients to ensure each integration solution meets data delivery, security and quality expectations; Look outside the organisation for opportunities for integration which benefit SVHA and further its mission; Set guidance around integration approaches and coach other members of the organisation around proper adoption; Monitor industry norms and progression with new technologies to assist with aligning integration strategy; Conduct proof of concepts related to integration technologies; Provide technical leadership on project efforts with temporarily assigned team of non-direct report staff members. Extensive experience and knowledge with integrations between various systems Deep experience in data extraction, manipulation and verification Deep experience in solution and integration testing, UAT and defect resolution Highly organised with exceptional project management skills Strong Microsoft Office skills with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to build relationships effectively Desirable Working knowledge of standards relevant to cloud based Enterprise level HRIS; Peoplesoft, workday or Oracle platforms HRIS implementation experience QUALIFICATIONS: Essential Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related business area.
