Guangzhou s 9 th Annual Oktoberfest 11 th - 19 th October 2013 FTC Mall, Guangzhou We are looking ahead to one of our hallmark events of the year Guangzhou s 9 th Annual Oktoberfest. This well-known festival celebrates German culture at its best, featuring traditional food specialties and creating a vibrant atmosphere of Chinese and Germans getting together and building bridges over continents. The German Chamber of Commerce in South & Southwest China in conjunction with China Hotel, A Marriott Hotel and the German Consulate General in Guangzhou are pleased to continue this tradition along with sponsors, friends and associates. Same band. New venue. The Band? Muenchner Musikanten! The 9 th Guangzhou Oktoberfest is proud to present the Bavarian band Muenchner Musikanten! With more than 500 performances spanning over 17 years, this energetic musicians know how to get the audiences excited! With 7 members, most of whom were born and raised in Bavaria, Muenchner Musikanten is the quintessential Oktoberfest band and well-known throughout China. Performing in the USA, Brazil, Japan, Hong Kong and in many locations within Mainland China, the band is thrilled to be back in Guangzhou where they have awakened the spirit of the Oktoberfest many times before.
