Focus Group Findings-PALF UPDATES For the PALF and other non-lighting calculators, have we clearly conveyed submission requirements?. Yes, but there is a concern with the numerous updates occurring on the lighting calculator. Will there continue to be frequent updates? o o There is a new version 2.0 that will be used for 2017-2018 (Program Year 9). The recently introduced version has few changes from the 2016-2017 year, with the main change being that the type of LED fixture is now a required field when creating custom LED fixture codes. Training webinars are being offered throughout July to go over all updates. The training sessions are being offered on alternating weeks on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings. Please see attached email for dates and registration o We will continue to accept the earlier version of the PALF until June 30. After this date all PALFs must be submitted on Version 2.0 or newer 27
Create Your Own Fixture Codes - LEDs Highly Recommended Required 28
PALF UPDATES - Summary All Fixture Inputs now on the Fixture and LED Schedule Tab LED type must be selected from drop down menus # of lamps must be selected from drop down menus Screw in LEDs less than 26 watts use screw in codes all others considered Custom LEDs Corn Cob Lights are considered General Lighting 29
PALF UPDATES - Summary It is highly recommended that you select Fixture Identifiers such as Fixture 1, Fixture 2, etc. and then also use these identifiers when notating the: Cut sheets Invoices DLC screen shots This reduces your project s processing time and eliminates the need for program staff to reach out with clarifying questions 30

CUSTOM PROJECT UPDATE The program will no longer accept Custom Project applications after project completion. Submit custom projects as early as possible as early as issuance of the Purchase Order. If a custom project is submitted following commencement of construction, it stands a chance of not being approved. CLEAResult needs to be involved in the earliest stages to develop the measurement and verification plan. There is no such thing as too early! 33
