The History of Dasso The story of Dasso has a long history that is deeply rooted with the natural element of bamboo. In early 1992, Dasso broke new ground in developing bamboo products in China. Lin Hai, president of Dasso, incorporated the village name of Dazhuang into his business name. After many years of growth, dasso proudly employs about 1000 people, and has 80,000m2 of factory space with 7 primary processing plants. Dasso also owns 2,718 acres (1,100 hectares) of lush green productive bamboo forest in China. Dasso 2-ply flooring Dasso 2-ply flooring is made from two layers of bamboo, with a 4mm toplayer and a cross pressed bamboo backing. The total thickness is 10mm which is relatively thin compared to other wood floors.
