By looking at a lot of major mainstream sites and seeing if they have anything related to your topic it shows you that there is competition and competition is a good thing. We aren t in the business of creating crappy search engine optimized blogs we are in the business of creating high quality information products that people want to spend money on. If people are spending their time and money to put something out there then it often means there are consumers who are looking to buy products or services in that market. If your niche hits most of these 27 points you are in great shape and should start researching exactly what your market wants and create the next best seller in the niche. Passion isn t required but highly recommended especially when you are just starting out, not to dampen your mood but things can and will go wrong when you are selling products on the internet and it s a lot more fun to be in a market you love when the going gets tough then it is to stick with something that you hate. Go to http://www.clickbank.com and click on Marketplace https://accounts.clickbank.com/marketplace.htm On the left hand side is a red menu bar that has various categories I clicked on Business/Investing and then I clicked on Equities & Stocks Now I could just stick with stock market as a niche but it s easier make money when you go deeper into a niche market.
By default this shows the current top 10 best selling products in the stock market niche on ClickBank. I found that penny stocks, stock picks and binary option trading are the current hot offers in the marketplace. I choose penny stocks as the niche to do more research on. My niche to research is: You may want to take note at what price products are selling at and if they seem to have a recurring membership fee Step 4. Required: Go to http://www.dummies.com and search for your niche. In a nutshell if there is a Dummies book there is a market of some sort. Take note of the table of contents for the book this is a goldmine! If there is no Dummies book yet write the niche down as one to investigate later but go back to step 3 and see if there are any other hot sub- niches in your market. Make notes of some of the most popular

Go to https://adwords.google.com/ko/keywordplanner/home (you will need an Adwords advertiser account but it s free you don t need to buy any ads). This will give you an idea of how often your niche is searched for and give you an idea of how competitive the niche is. I like to be in high competition niche markets because we AREN T focused on creating spammy search engine optimized blogs to rank instead we are focused on created high quality products we can advertise on those sites. Or better yet convince them to be affiliates of ours. Step 29. On one of the first steps we looked at Magazines in your niche. Find the websites for those magazines and look for an area to advertise or what is called a media kit this will give you a treasure trove of demographic information on your ideal customer. Or target specific groups/pages in your niche if they have lots members. Do not save the ad or make it go live unless you already have a website of your own in the niche. Just make a note of how much you can pay per click on Facebook. Many profitable niches can get you as much highly targeted traffic as you can handle for $1 or less a click. Step 33. Join Help A Reporter Out http://www.helpareporter.com/ this is a great free resource to get interviewed on your topic or to find people you can interview for your website/product. On my first time trying this I got quoted for the cover story of a national magazine, which is a great way to create credibility. Step 34. Join the http://www.directoryofezines.com this is a $197 lifetime fee but shows you a ton of newsletters/ezines you can advertise to in your marketplace. Don t join this until after your product is making sales. If you are starting you should put the $197 into graphics, sales copy, domains, hosting, autoresponder, product creation, pay per click traffic, etc to test your idea.
