Our customers are mainly connected to the automotive as well as metal and electrical industries. Moreover, we implement training undertakings for clients in the public sector. The competences of our in-company instructors are regularly reviewed and attested by certification procedures of external certification authorities. management of Training Development of Training The services of our experts in the development of training include all sub-steps of the development of training and workshop literature. These start at an analysis of demand, which is the basis for the issue of rough and detailed concepts for complex training documents and pilot trainings. As every project has its own requirements towards a training programme, our development of training is always individually aligned to the framework of the respective customer. Implementation of Training In the implementation of training, we find solutions together with our customer to meet the need of trainers, training facilities and equipment in an optimum way. Hereby, the implementation of training also includes the preparation and post-processing of seminars, the evaluation and securing of a consistent high quality. All our teams work in a process and customer-oriented way from steering of resources via invitation management and the realisation of training up to the reporting of projects. In doing so, we act strictly according to customer requirements in terms of corporate identity, products and branding of the respective company. Administration of Training The steep GmbH supports its customers training projects in the organisation, administration and participant support. Our case handlers at the training center or a hotline are the central point of contact for all training participants and trainers. They ensure the optimal support of the participants, are responsible for the preparation and review of training and attend to the training portals. page 04
management of Training Blended Learning Since each training project has different needs and goals, we rely on individual training concepts instead of sample solutions. We follow an integrated approach to learning which links traditional classroom sessions with modern electronic forms of learning. steep can draw on extensive experiences with the various forms of e-learning and, on this basis and in consultation with the customer, decides in which areas interactive training solutions are suitable and can be used as a supplement to classroom training. Training Centers The steep GmbH offers local and practice-oriented training possibilities in steep-owned training centers to its clients or builds and operates exclusive training centers and academies that correspond with the customer s requirements in corporate identity and equipment. We plan and design the construction and equipment of training facilities in close co-operation with the customer. Afterwards, according to the customer s wishes, we handle the management of infrastructure or the entire operation of buildings and facilities. Locations For the setup of local training facilities, we can offer you the possibility of using our brandneutral training centers. According to the agreement, training capacities can be reserved on long term or made available on short notice for a limited period of time. Our training centers are designed for the conduct of automobile, system and IT training modules. Short access routes for your participants will ensure a high participation. Training Center Hamburg The Training Center of the steep GmbH in Hamburg has been offering approved operations and practice-oriented training in the area of metal and electrical industry professions with an experiences team of trainers and teachers as well as socio-pedagogical supervision since 1984. Our long-term customers and partners include renowned companies and public institutions such as the German federal employment agency and the job centers in northern Germany. To give soldiers the possibility of obtaining an approved, completed vocational training makes military service more appealing. Our civil training and advanced education is usually carried out as a course - preferably conducted by civil education institutions such as steep or the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Industrie- und Handelskammer; IHK) and it is performed on behalf of the German Professional Promotion Service (Berufsförderungsdienst; BFD). According to the occupational area, the courses end with a final examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the German Chamber of Crafts (Handwerkskammer) or an examination board. page 10
steep has been conducting vocational training at different Bundeswehr locations within the context of tenders of the Professional Promotion Services and the German Ministry of Defence since 2002. Up to midyear 2012, more than 900 soldiers have completed an industrial vocational training (IHK) in an IT profession, as merchant or automotive mechatronic technician. Currently, training measures are being implemented at the steep locations Bad Frankenhausen and Wunstorf as well as in facilities of the German Army in Neustadt am Rübenberge and Neustadt in Holstein.
