A family-friendly friendly event, activities on the day cater for both two- and four-legged visitors. Supporting Doggies Day Out is a great way to promote your r business to a large crowd of dog owners while also supporting RSPCA WA. There are a number of different ways you can help support this event. About the event The inaugural Doggies Day Out was held in October 2011 and has grown to become one of the most popular events held at the Park. Now attracting over 4,000 visitors, the purpose of Doggies Day Out is to promote the Dog Park to our visitors and showcase a range of dog-related products and services to our Dog Park users. The event also supports RSPCA WA. The seventh annual Doggies Day Out will be held on Sunday 15 October, 2017, in the Village at. The highly visual Giant Ball Drop returns to Doggies Day Out in 2017 too. Based on Santa Barbara s K~9 PALS Dog Festival event in America, we will be dropping up to 1,000 numbered balls from the sky for a very spectacular raffle, raising funds for RSPCA WA. About is a unique recreation and conservation reserve that covers nearly 4,000 hectares of natural bushland and leisure facilities in Perth s northern suburbs. Situated just 18 km from the Perth CBD, alongside the tourist precinct of the Swan Valley, the Park is owned by the Western Australian Planning Commission. The Dog Park has been open since 2004 and is one of our most popular facilities. Dogs and their owners use the facility on a fortnightly, weekly, and even daily basis. At 2.5 hectares, the fenced enclosure located at Mussel Pool is a place where dogs can roam and run free off their leads whilst interacting with other dogs. E: enquiries@
Who participates? Market stalls, food vendors, interactive activities, community information stalls and commercial displays that have anything to do with our four-legged friends can exhibit at Doggies Day Out, including: treats and pet food - dog walkers and groomers - natural and veterinary therapies - dog clubs - pet accessories - hydrobath operators - pet commemoration products - pet ware Exhibitors are able to sell, launch and demonstrate their products and services to an interested audience and also establish relationships with new customers. Our visitors were pet lovers who ranged from 25 65 year old, visiting as families and couples. Promotional Plan will undertake a range of marketing activities to promote the event in the lead up to Doggies Day Out, including: - Web: an event page on the website, including exhibitor and sponsor information. - Social media: engagement with over 7,000 Facebook followers through the page and promotion to 42,000 followers on the RSPCA WA Facebook page. - Radio advertising: campaign to run for up to two weeks prior to the event. - Print media advertising - Flyers: an A5 event flyer will be distributed in café s and libraries around town, as well as being provided to all exhibitors. - Flyers: the event will be included in s October What s On event calendar. - Posters: internal posters will be displayed in the Visitor Information Centre, at the Dog Park and other locations throughout the Park. - Signage: banner at Lord Street entrance in the lead up to the event, where 80,000+ vehicles pass each week. - Direct Mail ail: information about the event will be included in the e-newsletter in September and October. Fur-lanthropist Sponsorship Choose to sponsor one of our fun doggie competitions, or the speaker s sessions with a donation of three prizes, each $10-$25 in value. - Naming rights to the competition or speaker s area (2016 event only) - Acknowledgement by MC at time of competition Competitions that can be sponsored include Pup-arrazzi and Waggly Winner ; contact the Marketing and Events Officer for more details. SPONSORSHIP CONDITIONS 1. These conditions apply to all levels and types of sponsorship. 2. All prize sponsor agreements will be assessed and you will be informed if your application is accepted. 3. Event prizes, unless perishable, must be delivered to two weeks prior to the event. 4. Vouchers for goods and/or services must be valid for use for a minimum of six (6) months from the date of the event (minimum expiry is therefore 15 April 2018). 5. All goods or products offered as a prize must be safe. 6. Donors acknowledge that donations of low monetary value may be grouped with other donations to create prizes of greater value. The allocation of prizes is to be determined by, in its discretion, once all donations are received. 7. All monetary sponsorship agreements must be finalised by 25 August 2017 and payments made in full by 1 September 2017 for full benefits to be received. 8. Sponsorship benefits conclude at the end of the event, on Sunday, 15 October 2017. 9. The right to withdraw acceptance of a sponsored application, should it be necessary, is reserved. If this were to occur, all monies paid, and goods or products provided to will be returned to the sponsor/donor within 14 days. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations will only be accepted in writing, mailed or faxed and must be signed by the person whose signature appears on the Sponsorship Registration Form (or their nominee). Cancellations received prior to 1 September 2017 will have payments refunded, less a $110.00 administration fee. Cancellations after that date will receive no refund and will be liable for payment of the balance should it not have been received by the cancellation date. RESTRICTIONS As RSPCA Australia is opposed to the use of any negative training methods or devices, electronically activated devices such as anti-barking collars that deliver a painful stimulus are not to be sold or promoted at this event, and may not be offered as prizes. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY By paying for a sponsorship package sponsors/donors agree to indemnify, Western Australian Planning Commission and the Government of Western Australia from any loss, damage, expenses or liability arising from any injury or damages to any person, including members of the general public or other exhibitors, occurring either in the space occupied by the sponsor/donor or elsewhere arising out of its occupancy or anything connected with occupancy. The Western Australian Planning Commission and the Government of Western Australia will not be liable for any loss or damage to the property of the sponsor/donor due to fire, robbery, accidents or any cause whatsoever that may arise from use and occupancy of an exhibition site. The Western Australian Planning Commission and the Government of Western Australia assumes no liability for any damages or losses resulting from or relating to the failure of the sponsor/donor to comply with the provisions of this agreement.
