Screw-fastening through to the leg of the outer sheet ensures high pull-out strength. Thanks to this method, the two steel legs are additionally interconnected and this increases further the stability of the panel. Drawing on the right: Typical hinge detail including compressive, weather-resistant sealing (hinge design may vary, depending on the manufacturer). The hinge fastening elements must be positioned as shown. For a self-tapping screw with a diameter of 6.3 mm, a pilot hole with a diameter of 4.5 mm is recommended. The screw should be tightened using an appropriate tool and a torque of 6 Nm. Salt-spray test first occurrence of red rust The metallic coatings have different degrees of resistance to saline conditions. ZM EcoProtect Coil-coating Protective film We therefore attach great importance to using high-quality, cost-effective corrosion protection. In addition, the client s needs for colour and architectural appearance must be met whilst ensuring adequate protection against corrosion. The well-proven high level of protection offered by hot-dip galvanised steel is even excelled by coil-coated steel strip. PUR rigid foam Steel Coil-coating ZM EcoProtect Organic coatings An organic coating applied to the cover sheets of our products gives corrosion protection as per DIN 55928-8 (corrosion protection class II or III), consistent quality and surface finish. In the case of the PLADUR * system, two coats of lacquer are applied in a single operation and the strip is then oven-cured. hoesch sectional door elements information on colours and coatings 18 RAL-Farben PLADUR * Relief when developing PladUr * relief the focus was placed on haptics. the high resistance to wear and the individual surface fi nish can provide a unique and unrivalled selling proposition for fi nal products. the great number of possible variations with respect to colour and texture allows individual, highly decorative designs of PladUr * relief to be created to meet the requirements of even demanding customers and end users. the surface texture, especially selected for this product, is highly resistant to mechanical loads. PLADUR * Wrinkle the coil-coated fl at product PladUr * wrinkle impresses not only with its special surface texture and colour but also with its excellent resistance to wear, which means the customer benefi ts from its long service life. with its matt surface, combined with the chosen colour, PladUr * wrinkle makes an excellent impression when aesthetic appearance is important. PladUr * wrinkle is applied as a 2-layer system to a sheet, both sides of which are hot-dip galvanised.
