JOB DESCRPTON Job Title Apprentice Joiner/Builder Managerially accountable to Senior Estates Officer Professionally accountable to Head of Operational Estates Pay Band 11,533 Apprentice salary Location Description Estates & Facilities Maintenance Department Specific To complete a 4 year apprentice programme through the Trust Apprentice Programme with weekly attendance at College. Principal Accountabilities To work as part of a multi-skilled team providing maintenance services across site/plant To work closely with experienced and qualified trade staff to develop the skills, techniques and attributes of the associated trade (Fitter, Electrical or Building/Joiner) To use a range of equipment and tools relevant to the Trade To attend college and apply learning in the workplace To operate from any sites controlled by Aintree University Hospitals NHSFT MAN DUTES & RESPONSBLTES: Developing practical skills and knowledge through completing on the job training for the associated trade Developing practical skills and knowledge through regular attendance at college in line with the apprentice framework Carry out repairs and maintenance as required and in agreement with the Supervisor.
