This kind of manager has an essential position in the organization to guide the top management in the competitive foreign markets. The Business and Industrial Project Manager is responsible for the technical and commercial activities for the given geographical area. The manager leads the technological, organizational and commercial development. The manager organizes the assembly, manages the continuous monitoring of the project and adds a higher value through technology, developed products, service equipment, installation, delivery, financing etc. The manager builds the link between the customer and the services of a company covering commercial, technical and financial aspects. All the actions are executed according to the regulations, time limit, costs and quality requirements. The manager remains aware of the business sector on local, European and global level. He/she collects useful information about threats and opportunities. It is an essential employee in the strategy for innovation and sustainable development of the company. The manager s activities are applied within industrial companies or service companies. The manager communicates with the customers, various services and other participants (consulting firms, production department, marketing department, purchasing department, suppliers, service providers etc.). It varies according to sector, organization, procedure, market dimension (national, international) and the project (innovation, high-tech quality etc.). This work involves travelling and business trips abroad, where it is necessary to speak foreign language(s). Topics include strategic management, social responsibility, environmental and internal analysis, diagnosis, strategic selection, implementation of new ideas and evaluation of result. The company uses the marketing tools to achieve the quantitative results in the short term. Marketing helps the organization to reach higher profits. B1-UE2-22-S Sales Management and Negotiation (7) + 21 hours Sales management has three roles: 1) implementation of sales techniques, 2) management of sales operations, 3) talent development and leadership. Negotiation the course aims at preparation of students for technical negotiation in business that takes place every day by the simulation of the situations. To make the sales team aware of the importance of encouraging new ideas from the customers in order to anticipate needs of the market, To select the potential clients and carry out the research of the market, To optimize the procedures and to organise the meetings, To be aware of the functioning of the company and prepare visits of it, To lead sales assessment and increase the client loyalty. B1-UE2-23-S Introduction to accounting (4) + 17.5 hours The manager is not an accountant but he/she has to understand and analyse the given information and explain it. To be capable of this, the manager has to understand the basic principles of accounting. To understand the balance sheet and profit & loss account, To explain the data, To use the table of cash flow, To determine and analyse the costs and margin, To be familiar with financial terms: costs, expenditures, interest, margin, acquisition costs, current value, discount, investment, funding etc. To determine the profitability of a product, project or activity. B1-UE3 Business management and industrial projects 3 ECTS B1-UE3-31-S Project (and business) management (7) + 35 hours Project management is the process and activity of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources, procedures and protocols to achieve specific goals in technics and business activities. To identify and develop the technical, human and financial resources to start industrial or business project, To manage processes, position yourself within a system of participants, To manage time, To manage budget, To manage risks, To keep a trustworthy relationship with the clients, To report on the company's different services and on its management, To finish the project: delivery, receipt, launching the service and guarantee, To keep records of the project by archiving, To benefit from the experience and utilise it in continuous improvement process. 8

B1-UE3-32-S Process management (7) + 24.5 hours Process management is an organizational activity which brings together all the parts of a process. The parts are structured, documented, analysed, optimized and controlled. Process management contributes to overall improvement of the organization. A common objective of Process management is to master the technology in order to drive and manage changes in an organization. To acquire the useful tools to identify, describe, improve and authorize the process, To assess the critical importance of process management, To apply relevant methodologies to analyze, design, improve and report the processes, To optimize the organizational capacity according to market needs, To organize and execute a large-scale, multi-dimensional and cross-functional process improvement within the industry, To improve workflow and productivity through optimized staffing, staff allocation and workload efficiency, To place all the participants into the system. B2 - Implementation of industrial system 6 th Semester (9 ECTS) B2-UE-1 Master basic concepts of information system 4 ECTS B2-UE1-11-S Databases (17.5)+24.5 hours A database is a collection of information that is organized in order to be easily accessed, managed, and updated. Databases can be classified according to different types of content. To use data model to design logical structure and determine in which way data can be stored, organized, and controlled; To manage operational processes through the data processing; To protect and secure the data in a network. B2-UE1-12-S Networks and services (21) + 28 hours The subject explains networks based on technology. Networks and services define network concepts using theoretical and integrated approach from network applications to network protocols and services. The subject covers all stages of a network. To describe a network configuration structure and its functioning; To identify and describe the connection between network's different components; To place different network functions in the OSI model; To identify different network configurations; To identify a client-server architecture software components. 9

B2-UE-2 Convert, transmit energy/power and control system 3 ECTS B2-UE1-21-S Software development (10.5) + 28 hours The Software Development Life Cycle is a process that ensures that good software is built. Each phase of the product life cycle has its own process and features that fit into that phase. There are typically 5 phases of software development: 1) 1) Analysis of user s requirements, 2) Design of the program, 3) Coding the program, 4) Documentation and 5) Test of the system. To analyse the needs of the product development, To use programming platform, To develop procedural, objective and event-driven programmes, To create graphic interfaces using dedicated tools, To adjust the application interface to fit ergonomic requirements. B2-UE2-22-S Electronics system (10.5) + 28 hours The course introduces the principles of the given system (environment of microcontroller, programmes, integrated development of environment (compiler, text editor), sensor based circuit building skills. To choose the best sensor considering the specifications in the industrial context, To provide a sensor's coherent electronic connection, To program a microcontroller, To connect a sensor to a given system. B2-UE-3 Create and build an innovative system 2 ECTS B2-UE3-31-S Statics (7) + 7 hours The students are taught the principles of statics including the support systems and reactions of limitation, moments of force, torque, equilibrium in 2D and 3D systems and rigid bodies. Students establish the equation of equilibrium for any system of force and determine all reactions. To draw a scheme of loads, To apply analytic methods of statics to analyse mechanical systems (3D force system) to model the reaction to various forces, To demonstrate the ability to apply the appropriate conditions of equilibrium on the particular rigid body or mechanical system. 10

B2-UE3-32-S Strength of materials (7) + 7 hours Students are taught how to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering on mechanics of materials under axial loading, torsion, bending and combined loading. The course prepares them to design components to meet desired needs in terms of strength and defection. The students identify, formulate and solve engineering problems related to the reaction of materials to various types of loading. To understand the schemes of structural parts, materials and loads; To apply the method of selection and identify internal loads and calculate required geometric characteristics; To calculate and determine the section characteristics; To evaluate characteristics of materials such as strength, plasticity, elasticity, hardness and creep; To evaluate attributes and stiffness of structural elements under tension, bending, torsion and shear loading; To calculate deformations of structural elements under tension and torsion loading. B2-UE3-33-S Computer aided design (CAD) (10.5)+10.5 hours There is an increasing pressure on manufacturing organisations to be more productive, efficient and pro-active towards the market needs. This has led the manufacturers to adopt new, faster and functionally advanced design of manufacturing and communication tools in order to maintain a competitive advantage. Current computer modelling techniques enable sophisticated software design to be used at an early stage in the design prototype development of a product. B3 Management of International relations 6 th Semester (8 ECTS) UE-1 Implement the international business strategy 4 ECTS B3-UE1-11-S Business English (24.5)+59.5hours The English program helps the students to develop and improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in the business field. The skills and confidence in communication improve as they learn. The students use English in flexible and effective way in social and professional environment. The students acquire correct usage of language of science and technology along with the effective usage of all language skills. The Business English course develops competence in writing a scientific analysis (text) as well as oral presentation. The students acquire business terminology. B3-UE1-12-S Cross-culture management (3.5)+17.5 hours This course aims at increasing the employability of graduates by acquiring the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in cross-cultural communication and education. The course differs from a conventional model. It consists of a set of files where the students discuss the theoretical background and methodological approaches to cross-cultural communication and conduct a supervised research project in this area. B3-UE2-22-S International project: Case study (7) + 28 hours For the purpose of the case study the students use company s data which are open to public (official websites). The general information, both technical and commercial, is certified by the company. For the purpose of the case study, only the information taken from professional documents, which are regularly updated, is allowed. Information is available in English and in the students native languages. The case s objective is to prepare the students for professional environment. The case study lets students develop their capabilities in managing situation in a company with many interdependent aspects regarding the subjects taught. The students must use their acquired skills in engineering and business management (communication, project management, commercial negotiation, marketing, logistics, English ). To work in multinational groups on projects, To observe, compare and integrate the culture (technical, commercial and professional practices of each country), To experience competencies acquired during the current study program, To be able to work on cross professional skills, To practise technical and commercial English in an industrial environment, To develop the mobility (globalization). 13

B3-UE2-23-S Cultural project (20) + 14 hours Cultural project is an interdisciplinary, interactive course that provides an introduction to intercultural questions that rise from the growing diversity and interconnection of France and the world. In order to develop an essential level of cross-cultural competency, this cultural project challenges graduates to learn about the ways how the people from different cultural backgrounds think, communicate, work and behave. To study and analyze cultural, economic, technical subjects related to the city, the region or the country where the graduates stay, to understand better how the inhabitants live and work, To work in a team with foreign students, organize meetings or visits; participate in trade fairs, make videos, carry out a survey etc. To present the project results in written form. B4 Communications management 6 th Semester (4 ECTS) B4-UE1 Manage a team and communicate 2 ECTS B4-UE1-12-S Communications management (3) + 21 hours This module develops the fundamental knowledge of the basics of communication. Students apply their skills in practice: understand the conception, models and levels of communication. They acquire ability to talk and listen effectively, emphasize, analyze, and critically assess various communication situations using verbal and nonverbal expressions in various communication situations. B4-UE1-12-S Other language - Spanish or French (5) + 21 hours The Spanish/French program helps the students to develop and improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in the business field. The skills and confidence in communication improve as they learn. The students use Spanish/French in flexible and effective way in social and professional environment. The students acquire correct usage of language of science and technology along with the effective usage of all language skills. The course develops competence in writing a scientific analysis (text) as well as oral presentation. The students acquire business terminology. The project allows students to benefit from working in a team and applying the advanced scientific, technical and business English.
