ONE SCAN, ONE IMAGE We call our products Visual Location Management Systems (VLMS). That is because they visualise, analyse and document your logistical processes in real-time. We achieve that by integrating informative image data into processing data, status data and position information. The correct information from a consignment enquiry will therefore always be directly available to you. With just a few clicks our systems show you where and in what condition a package is and what happened to it while it was in the warehouse. When you enter a barcode in a consignment enquiry you will immediately find the fitting image of the associated consignment - even from several different perspectives. Even if you search for a specific scan number or storage location you will get all images of the related work process with just one click. SPOTTING THE CONSIGNMENT S LOCATION AT A GLANCE Our system localises, acquires and saves the position of all radio scanners in your warehouse in real-time. So you always know when and where exactly your consignment was last scanned. This is most important when dynamic deviations from the actual process happen, as for example in the case of a large shipping volume. When you search for a specific package you will see immediately where and when it was last scanned. The scan and the associated barcode are directly displayed and marked in a video image, so you can clearly verify the scan and start your visual enquiry of the consignment you are looking for. FIT FOR CERTIFICATION You care for security as well as safety - and we keep an eye on that. As an authorised economic operator (AEO) you have to meet various requirements in dealing with airfreight shipments. Apart from process management, our systems can also be used as a technological basis for the comprehensive safety requirements. By connecting the fitting images with the correct event from the access control and intrusion alarm systems we guarantee complete and clear documentation from start to finish. KEEPING THE CONSIGNMENT IN FOCUS With our PanoramaView you will never lose track of a consignment - even if it moves through your warehouse. If you wish, up to 8 cameras can simultaneously show you the process from different perspectives. Depending on the image you select, the adjacent camera images are automatically assigned according to a logical algorithm, synchronised and opened in PanoramaView. You will thus never lose sight of your goal. We make your enquiry efficient. 6
You only want to look at video images if something relevant is happening? You can mark an area of an image that is important to you like a package. With SearchByMove you can, in a matter of seconds, filter from all archived video images precisely those that show actual changes happening to the package. And in the special mode consignment-related enquiry only the package is shown, excluding all environmental influences such as light reflections and hand movements. You will thus, with just a few clicks, be able to see the significant movements even if the package is being stored for a long time. You will find what you are looking for in no time at all. 7
INSTANT DOCUMENTATION With our MobileDocumentationCenter you have everything you need to document the status of a consignment while you are on the move - detailed, precise and directly in the process. Our specially developed and user-friendly software guides you through the individual process steps. After having scanned a barcode you simply take a photo of the consignment from different angles, for example if the package is damaged. You can then describe the status as precisely as possible with pre-formulated texts. Once all required entries have been recorded, our solution automatically generates a customized status report including the images and makes it available at your workplace. EVERY DISPATCHER CAN ACT AS A DIRECTOR You want to save the most important scenes? Or do you want to show a recording of your work process to your customer, for instance? You can clearly see on the video images that a consignment had already been damaged in transit before arrival at your warehouse? Or you want to document the good quality of your loading operations prior to the exit of consignments as a matter of precaution? Then consider using our speed backup function that is designed to save the complete sequence of the loading and unloading of a unit within a few minutes. The exported videos can be used at any time for documentation or evaluation purposes. If you want to document an enquiry you have to activate the recording mode. The enquiry will then be automatically recorded in the background and made available to you for editing. With just a few clicks you will create a finished video directly at your workplace. DATA PROTECTION AS A MATTER OF COURSE The compliance with the eight protective measures laid down in Section 9 of the German Federal Data Protection Act is a minimum standard. In spite of the need to specifically visualise the details of your logistic processes, we always pay attention to the privacy rights of your staff, e.g. with our modules Privacy and Privacy+. On the video displays your entire staff will be pixelated in such a way as to prevent unwanted identification of individual persons. Should this prove necessary, the pixelated scenes of these recordings can be depixelated and made visible with secure and multi-level password and safety procedures by authorised personnel. 10
ALWAYS STRIKING THE RIGHT BALANCE You want to know the size of a package without installing elaborate measuring equipment and without interrupting ongoing processes? We have a smart solution for this: measuring directly in the video image. Additionally, you can use the existing camera infrastructure for checking the size data of packages - even retrospectively when the consignment has already left the warehouse. The measuring process is being assisted interactively by the provision of virtual reference packages, zoom windows and further additional tools as an overlay in the camera image. In addition, if you use our 3D LogView technology you can even measure the same package from different perspectives using different cameras to optimise the measurement accuracy.
