Its main programs include employment services and benefits counseling for people with HIV and/or mental health conditions. Through its services, PRC helps individuals make informed choices in order to maximize available benefits and increase employment opportunities. Its annual budget of $2.8 million is supported by federal, state, city, corporate and foundation grants as well as gifts from individual donors and community organizations. While originally founded to provide services and support to people living with HIV/AIDS, Positive Resource Center expanded its mission in 2004 to serve people at risk for HIV/AIDS, particularly those with mental health disabilities.
