Life cycle costing LCC is a method of calculating the total life cycle cost of a product induced throughout its life cycle. Plantation Transport of fertilizers and pesticides Fertilizers Pesticides Field operation Labour costs Taxes& Insurance Energy, fuel and water consumption Overheads transport transformation

Calculated LC cost for production of 1 kg of APPLE = 0,212 Units % kgco2 eq/kg % /kg 100% 90% Field operations 56,70% 70,97% 80% Overheads Production&packaging of FERTILIZERS Emissions of FERTILIZERS Production&packaging of PESTICIDES Emissions of PESTICIDES 8,25% 1,51% 27,84% 0% 6,19% 11,53% 0% 0% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% Other energy and water consumptions Transports Production&packaging of PESTICIDES Emissions of FERTILIZERS Transports 1,02% 0,89% Other energy and water consumptions 0% 0,36% 20% 10% Production&packaging of FERTILIZERS Field operations TOTAL VALUE 0,097 0,212 0% LCA - % kgco2 eq/kg LCC - % /kg

3 Analysis of results & areas of improvements Stimated LCC cost = 0,212 /kg Current selling price = 0,22 /kg ACTUALLY any measure of improvement DO NOT have to burden on costs of production
