Burton ISD Rock Building Project Addendum #1 MEP NARRATIVE 1. The 25 ton unit was show on the schedule utilizing the ARI values for reference. 2. Verify exact location of stage lighting prior to mounting. 3. The Condensing units shall be provided with low ambient controls, evaporator defrost control as required to allow operation down to 0F ambient, anti short cycle relay, timed off control, hail guards, and 5 year compressor warranty. 4. The contractor shall determine the exact lengths of the refrigerant lines required and submit to the manufacturer for required sizing of the refrigerant piping. 5. The contractor shall install the equipment and refrigerant piping per the manufacturer s recommended installation instructions. 6. In order to accomplish defrost control the Motormaster component KAAFT0101AAA or HH18HB031 must be utilized in order for the defrost control option to function properly. 7. Provide hail guard(s) for all exterior equipment component number 38ap 900 002. 8. Provide any and all other components as recommended by the equipment manufacturer for proper operation of the equipment. 9. Commercial equipment from Carrier has 1 year parts warranty from date of installation or 18 months from date of shipment from the factory, whichever is the first to occur. The compressor has a 5 year warranty. 10. Provide separate cost as indicated on revised bid form for extended warranty for commercial Carrier systems over 15 tons.
