Comprehensive Job Description: Vice President The Vice President is responsible for the design and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan that achieves the Chambers annual budget revenue goals. The Vice President manages the design and production of all internal and external marketing tools, including, but not limited to: Chamber event promotional media, social media, website, newsletter, membership sales materials, signage, presentation tools & materials; and membership retention tools. The Vice President is responsible for developing an annual membership plan which includes calendar and budget goals. The Vice President manages all event sponsorships and membership acquisition and retention campaigns. Direct and implement the delivery of Chamber sponsored programs. Responsible for membership retention by calling on a minimum of three existing members a week. Report calling efforts to the President/CEO on a monthly basis. Coordinate ribbon cutting ceremonies for new business. Ensure that services provided to members meet their needs. Informs President/CEO of any member problems or issues within 2 business days so that the appropriate action may be taken if necessary. Solicits member input/feedback and develops reports for President/CEO. Direct planning and coordination and attend Business after Business, ribbon cutting, and member events. Facilitates new member orientations and retention programs. Maintain marketing materials. Prepares membership meeting materials. Organizes speakers for membership meetings. Maintains and updates membership database information. Facilitates standing and special committees as assigned by the President/CEO. Communicates and counsels with President/CEO on processes, policies, internal and external solutions and issues regarding membership and administration. Assists in budget development for Membership dues and non-dues income. Attends conferences, training and events as directed by the President/CEO. Coordinates volunteers for committees, programs and events. Represents the Chamber at community and governmental events and programs as directed by the President/CEO.
