III During evaluation and comparison of the bid, StockHolding Document Management Services Limited at its discretion may ask the bidder for clarification of his bid. Eligibility Criteria for Participating Bidders: i. The firm should be registered under Sales Tax, Service Tax as applicable and shall also possess a valid PAN card. (Documentary evidence to be enclosed). ii. The firm / agency should not have been blacklisted by any Government / state agency / institution. iii. The bidder should satisfy all the terms and conditions laid by StockHolding Document Management Services Limited including the terms published in the news paper publication (HT & NBT, Mumbai Publication dated 14 Jun 2016). Terms and conditions: 1 Rates quoted shall include delivery & installation in-situ and shall be given for each unit. All prospective bidders shall be required to visit the site and ascertain the exact scope of work including commissioning and the rates quoted shall be as per the scope. All cost towards such S & I shall be all inclusive and no extra financial outgo shall be allowed later by SDMSL. All taxes and other outgoings over and above the basic pricing shall be indicated clearly. In the absence of any such indications, it shall be presumed that rates are all inclusive. 3 Taxes / duties / charges if any should be mentioned specifically else the price shall be considered all inclusive. 4 Details of warranty shall be provided. 5 Name of the manufacturer and make for each item must be clearly specified. 6 Quotes shall be exactly as per our RFP. 7 StockHolding Document Management Services Limited reserves the right to accept / reject any tender in whole or in part thereof without assigning / specifying any reason thereof. 8 Any conditional quotation or any deviation from the terms and conditions shall render the quotations liable for rejection. 9. Execution period shall be clearly indicated. StockHolding Document Management Services Limited, at its discretion and in special circumstances may extend the completion period. StockHolding Document Management Services Limited, at its discretion may call for quality assessment of the items, at its will. 4. The scope shall include Supply, installation and commissioning of the Steel Mezzanine Flooring (details at annexure I & II). Annexure I to RFP 130616 Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Steel Mezzanine Flooring at Mahape SCOPE & TECHNICAL DETAILS: To be read in conjunction with our drawing no. 16-17/041 placed at enclosure II. SUPPLY OF STEEL MEZZANINE FLOOR COVERING AN AREA OF APPR. 14100 SQ. FT. COMPRISING OF: 1) Steel mezzanine flooring above existing long span racking to accommodate steel racking available with SHDMSL above it. 2) Steel Staircase to the height of 4500mm from the ground floor level. 1) SUPPLY OF MEZZANINE FLOORING: Size Height - 4500 mm from GL Length - 50650 mm Width - 12900 mm Note : Flooring to be done in two equal parts i.e. 50650 MM * 12900 MM X 2. Of this only one half needs to be done and the provision for second half of flooring installation is to be made for future erection / installation. A steel flooring of size length of 50650 mm x width 12900 mm is to be provided at height of appr. 4500 mm from the ground level as per the drawing. The Mezzanine floor structure to consist of secondary steel girders- Box Beams along the length of 50650 mm using columns of existing Long Span Racking thus making grids of 970+1990+1000+1990+1000+1990+1000+1990+970 mm in the width of 12900 mm which is to be in conjunction with the racking on the ground floor. This flooring shall consist of steel perforated floor gratings located over the box beams along the grid and secured in position and bolted with cleats. Page 6 of 8
The steel mezzanine flooring has to take a weight of 800 kgs /sq mtr uniformly distributed load of the steel racking available with SHDMSL to be installed above it. The entire steel flooring has to be bolted type structures with provision for dismantling and relocating in future to different sites. MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS: Steel Floor Gratings and Slotted sections are to be manufactured from prime quality steel conforming to conforming to IS 10748 / 1995 & IS 5986/2002 Spn The slotted sections conform to IS 808/ 1976 spn. Steel Box Horizontal beams fabricated of two channels nested together with three prongs at either end which are easily located in the upright frame of the long span racking and which should not be distorted by external abuse due to drop in pin which shall secures its position. Distributed load per pair of beams based on a factor of safety of 1.8 with a deflection ratio of 1/180 of the span.. Steel floor grating shall be two bend channel type section with slots on the flange and series of them located on the beams to make the flooring. The beams & bracings etc are to be designed as per design code IS 800/801. Galvanising of Nuts & Bolts shall conform to IS 2633 / 1986 spn. PAINTING PROCESS FOR MATERIAL: The entire material is to be subjected to seven bath process comprising of degreasing derusting in conformity to IS 6005/1983 Spn. phosphating conforming to IS 3618/ 1966, Class D passivation - given a coat of primer and finally painted with high grade powder coated finish and baked in oven at 180 0. Dry film thickness shall be average 40 microns The testing of paints for various chemical and physical properties shall be as per IS 101/1986. Page 8 of 8
