BASF Raw Materials and Formulation Know-How for Flooring Adhesives and Sealants Sealants BASF offers a comprehensive portfolio of polymer dispersions and resins for water-based acrylic sealants, construction adhesives and expandable sealing tapes. Additionally, we supply a wide selection of performance additives. Thanks to our longtime experience in application technology, we are able to provide you with tailor-made solutions as well as standardized guiding formulas. This way, we enable our customers to satisfy the desired requirements and performance criteria in sealant and adhesive formulations. Our extended services cover advice and support in the field of national and international standards, European eco labels, storage and handling of our products, sustainability aspects and much more. Our aim is to provide you with the complete solution when it comes to mastic acrylic sealants and adhesives. Flooring Adhesives We provide a complete portfolio of acrylic and styrene-acrylic polymer dispersions and formulation additives for state-of-the-art flooring adhesives. In our application technology lab, we develop adhesive guiding formulations for different types of flexible floorings, such as PVC, carpet and rubber, as well as for hard flooring surfaces such as parquet. Additionally, we can support you with tailor-made formulation solutions for specific requirements. Our portfolio of dispersions, additives and formulation proposals meets the requirements of relevant low VOC emission labels, e.g. EMICODE EC1 or even EC1 plus. With dispersions, additives and the requisite know-how of high performance flooring adhesives, which fulfil the most demanding low-emission requirements, we make a strong contribution to more sustainable construction. Creating chemistry for more sustainable Flooring Adhesives and Sealants To drive sustainable development, we reviewed our entire portfolio under sustainability aspects using the standardized Sustainable Solution Steering Method*. Looking at economic, environmental and social needs, we have identified key issues along the entire value chain for the Flooring Adhesives and Sealants segment. On this basis, we are able to assess the sustainability contribution of each product in its specific application.
